Make Your Day Skipper Memorable in Mallorca!

BYOB is known to some as ‘bring your own bottle’ or, to others, ‘be your own boss’. A day skipper qualification enables you to become your own boss on the ocean! A bareboat charter provides an epic experience brimming with freedom, excitement and sense of achievement! Create your own itineraries, pick your own anchorages and add some spontaneity to your trip. What’s stopping you taking the helm? Many people believe they do not possess the skills or competence to skipper a boat. By completing the day skipper course you will gain the relevant knowledge and consolidate your skills. The course does not require vast experience, just enthusiasm to learn and therefore gain experience and your qualification which allows you to pursue your love of sailing.

News and Reviews at The Palma Superyacht Show 2014!

From one yacht show to another this week… today sees the beginning of the Superyacht show in Palma, Mallorca. A brokerage and charter show, there’s several well-known charter boats on display with some old favourites and some new to the charter market in Spain. This is only the second edition of the superyacht show, and it has returned following the success of the Palma Superyacht Brokerage and Charter Show in May 2013. This show will continue to only exhibit yachts of an impressive 24 metres and above.

First up is a new addition to the charter market in Spain, POWDERMONKEY. Our team on the French Riviera were gutted to see her leave her prime position in Antibes last year, having received a Spanish charter license, heading to Palma for the upcoming season. This luxury crewed motor yacht offers unrivalled value for money, accommodating up to 10 guests at a very competitive €49,000 per week high season. She’s a fun family boat with spacious cabins, classic interior, fun splashes of colour throughout and an extensive water sports inventory. POWDERMONKEY has had multiple technical and visual upgrades meaning she’s in pristine condition ready for this summer.

Next up is BENITA BLUE from Evolution Yachts in Australia. She combines the weird and wonderful to create extensive space of a much larger yacht. Her sleek, outlandish and bright exterior colouring is contrasted by the quiet cool of her neutral interior. Whilst the owners of BENITA BLUE are keen to move on before the summer season arrives, we’re confident she’ll be back on the charter market in time for high season in the Mediterranean. Again she’s a perfect family boat with two doubles, two twins and a convertible office for an extra two berths.
