Discover the charming Cyclades from the cosmopolital island of Mykonos on this 7 day crewed motor yacht charter
Stylish and glamourous, yet rustic and traditional. Mykonos is the perfect island on which to begin the ultimate exploration of the Cyclades Island charm onboard a luxury motor yacht. Visit ancient relics, secluded sandy spots and indulge in wonderfully fresh seafood as you cruise from one idyllic anchorage to the next.
With the guidance of an experienced Captain and crew, you can incorporate some of the most highly renowned restaurants in Greece; including the renowned Nammos, Hakkassan and Katrin. Be sure to enjoy the peaceful beauty of islands like Milos and wander the whitewashed streets of Ios to make your next charter your most memorable vacation yet.
Step onboard your luxury motor yacht to be welcomed by your Captain and crew for what will be an exhilarating week crusing the Cyclades Islands. After you have enjoyed a tour of the yacht, step ashore and explore the whitwashed and bourgenvillea drenched streets of this cosmopolitan town before leaving lively Mykonos behind in search of the beautiful Syros. Known for its large town Ermoupoli - the capital of the Cyclades - this small island is a unique blend of ancient and modern Greece.
After a wonderful lunch at one of the many charming restaurants, soak up the Mediterranean sun on the foredeck as you begin the short cruise to Serifos for your overnight anchorage. Walk the streets of one of the most elegant towns in the Cyclades, soak up the relaxed ambience of quaint bars and tavernas that fringe the streets, or walk up to the 15th-century Venetian castle for well-earnt sundowners and a fantastic view over the azure Greek waters.
Rise early and enjoy a selection of fresh fruit as you make your way to Kimolos; an island made up of volcanic soil that has produced some of the best beaches in the Cyclades. Rendezvous with resident seals that inhabit the north shores, or tender ashore to the beaches of Ayioklima, Prassá, Thérma and Kástro to visit the thermal springs.
Come afternoon, lay eyes upon white sandy swathes and gorgeous landscapes in Milos. Dip below the surface and unveil enchanting caves between the islands of Mílos, Kimolos, and Polyegos. Motor into the harbor of Adámantas, a whitewashed town with plenty of restaurants serving up traditional Greek delicacies.
Following a beautifully prepared lunch by your chef on the sundeck, head to the port of Folegandros in the small village of Karavostasis. With untouched beaches and crystall waters, this is the perfect place to spend the evening away from the busier tourist destinations. This tranquil island has three villages awaiting your exploration, but the port also offers excellent restaurants for the evenings.
For those seeking some onland adventure, this morning you will cruise to the hilly island of Ios. Berth in Ormos harbor and either walk or take the bus up to the beautifully picturesque village of Chora; inaccessible by car, this is a wonderfully unspoilt pocket of paradise to explore. For a romantic ambience as well as tantalising Greek cuisine, Club Restaurant is a must-visit before returning to your yacht and heading to Amorgos.
Featuring wonderful ancient relics such as broken down towers, tombs and stone tools are only some of this island's appeal. This evening, be sure to try a glass of the local tipple, Rakomelo – a digestive spirit and “home remedy” for sore throats.
Wake early for a refreshing morning dip before breakfast as your captain takes you through today's activities on the 3 islands of Koufonisia. Although thought to have been inhabited since prehistoric times, the beaches are largely unpopulated and end beautifully in the crystal waters of the Aegean. Enjoy the latest catch of the local fishermen in a shoreside restaurant before heading back to the yacht for an afternoon of watersports.
This afternoon, stimulate the mind on one of the many deck spaces of your luxury yacht, swim in the bay, or explore awat from the yacht on the vessels many water toys. As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, cruise to Paros. Natural beauty and fabulous footpaths connecting the villages make this one of the most breathtaking anchorages. Some of the finest restaurants of the Cyclades can be found here; including Marios in the old Venetian port of Naoussa, and Barbarossa, a wonderful seafood restaurant. Featuring a vine-covered courtyard and exciting menu, reataurant Levantis makes for a memorable meal for a celebration.
Following a lazy morning, set sail for the island of Delos on approach to Mykonos. As the birthplace of the twin gods Apollo and Artemis, we suggest accompanying an expert guide to introduce you to some of the amazing artifacts this island has produced; found either in the island’s museum or Athen's archaeological museum. For total seclusion, anchor off the beautiful island of Rinia for an exclusive lunch onboard.
Following an early afternoon dip, pull up the anchore and embark towards your final stop; Mykonos. Stop in the bay of Ormos for some late afternoon snorkeling before heading back to the port, or if takes your fancy - try out some scuba diving at Grouper Rocks. Abuzz with a vibrant nightlife, Mykonos is the perfect final stop for boutique shopping and to experience the livelier side of island life. Wander through the streets and enjoy sunset views over the windmills.
This morning it is time to disembark and say goodbye to your wonderful Captain and fun crew, before heading home with a load of fabulous memories.
