Sifnos, Greece Yachting Visitors Guide
Sifnos, Greece Yachting Visitors Itinerary Planning Guide
If you are looking for that perfect Greek island with a balance of beautiful beaches, nightlife, white Cycladic villages, low-impact tourism and maybe the best food in the Cyclades, then look no further than Sifnos
The pedestrianized, main town of Kastro is rich in antiquities. The archaeological museum is fascinating and various artefacts can be found dotted around the town. The town itself is an idyllic maze of narrow streets culminating in stunning coastal views. The Church of the Seven Martyrs is absolutely stunning and is the best place to go snorkelling on the island.
For drinks in the evening, head to Apollonia. This small, buzzy town comes into its own in the summer months when guests often dance the night away in one of the many pubs and tavernas. Turning into a place resembling a miniature Mykonos, this is the place to be seen on the island in August. Rambagas is a must-visit restaurant in this area of Sifnos, serving delectable Greek cuisine from breakfast until the night.
