Cuba — the Land that Time Forgot

Bob Dylan is famous for his song “The Times They Are a-Changing,” and for no country is this statement more appropriate than the Caribbean Island of Cuba. The changing political scene with the Americans and Cuban governments agreeing to re-establish ties, following their severance more than half a century ago, means that now is the time to visit before one of the last vestiges of communism is changed irrevocably.

Super Yacht of the Week: NERO

We’re taking an unusual turn this week, and looking towards timeless elegance and a touch of traditional class. NERO benefits from a classic gentleman’s yacht style but with every modern feature you could possibly wish for, and some features that will exceed even the most discerning of wish lists. NERO is a romantic yacht and offers all the charm and luxury of 1920s design. Currently cruising the Caribbean, NERO is the perfect yacht to stand out even amongst the striking beauty of the islands of St Martin and the BVI. This summer she’ll be available for event charters, boasting exceptional quayside entertainment for 100, parties at anchor for 35 and accommodation for up to 12 guests.

Super Yacht of the Week: SIREN

At Boatbookings we’re huge fans of Nobiskrug yachts, as you’ll see from our previous post on the beautiful MOGAMBO we love their sporty lines, the stand-out grey hulls and the huge amount of light that floods their interiors. A winner for us this week is SIREN, a favourite of Brokers Allison and Ben at this year’s Antigua Yacht Show. Ben said that SIREN was “streets ahead of the competition,” and we can really see why.SirenCruisingProfile
