VENUS, Steve Jobs superyacht was spotted in the BVI’s!

VENUS, the 256′ superyacht that was created for the the Apple founder, Steve Jobs, was spotted in the BVI’s this past weekend floating in the turquoise waters off Norman Island.  Unfortunately Steve Jobs passed away a year before VENUS was finished but his widow, Laurene Powell Jobs maintains ownership of the beautiful superyacht.   This magnificent yacht was designed by Philippe Starck’s design company Ubik and built by Feadship in the Netherlands at the cost of more than €100 million. Gorgeous Beaches and Warm Hospitality Await You in the Cyclades Islands, Greece

Famous for their beautiful sandy beaches, hospitable people and traditional lifestyle, the Cyclades Islands are probably the most well known in the Aegean Sea. “Cyclades” means circular islands and refers to the islands forming a circle around the sacred island of Delos. According to Greek mythology, Poseidon (God of the sea) was furious with the Cyclades nymphs and turned them into islandsinflatable water slide. With its luminous and serene, crystal blue waters, the Cyclades can best be described as a true paradise. There are 39 islands which make up the breathtaking Cyclades, 24 of which are inhabited. The most well known of these islands are Mykonos, Delos, Santorini, Naxos, Paros, Amorgos, Serifos, Sifnos, Milos and Syros. The small Cyclades include Folegandros, Koufonissi, Schinoussa and Donoussa.

Super Yacht of the Week: BLUSH

Following on last week’s theme of yachts that hold a special place in our heart this year, our final super yacht of the week for 2014 is BLUSH. We’ve been watching BLUSH’s movements since she was revealed earlier this year, a rumoured £25 million new-build from Formula 1 mogul Eddie Jordan. The 47-metre yacht is Sunseeker’s flagship creation and the largest yacht ever built at the British based shipyard. Following her reveal the yachting industry awaited her launch with baited breath, and we were not disappointed!
