Antibes, Cap d'Antibes & Juan les Pins
An ancient Greek and Roman fortified town, Antibes is now a bustling port town and active yachting community, which merges the old with the new. You will recognise the landmarks of the chateau in the Old Town, housing the Picasso Museum, and le Fort Carré, which overlooks the vast Port Vauban. Explore the winding streets where you will find bars and restaurants aplenty to tempt your appetite! Antibes is a fantastic central point for day charters, because of its almost central location along the Côte d'Azur. Walking along the coastal path you will reach Cap d'Antibes, with beautiful holiday villas and a panoramic view of the sea. Nice is both a very popular yachting destination, as well as the main entry point to the French Riviera thanks to the Cote d'Azur airport. It is one of the larger cities along the Riviera, with shopping centres and the bustling promenade, but also retains its old world charm in the beautiful Old Port and the Old Town with excellent markets and secluded restaurants and cafes. From the Promenade des Anglais, the long boardwalk curving along the entire waterfront, you still get a feeling for its early 1900s splendour with the beautiful architecture. The Îles de Lérins are two islands that lie just off the coast of Cannes; chartering from Cannes to Iles Lerins is the ideal day out! Île Sainte-Marguerite is the larger island, covered by a pine and eucalyptus forest. The island has a few cafes and restaurants, including the popular restaurant La Guérite. Cruising south you will find Île Saint-Honorat, known for its Cistercian Abbey where the monks still produce local Provencal wines. The passage between the islands is a popular anchor point for many of the yachts of the region, known for its amazing Caribbean-blue waters. Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is the most famous of the 'Caps' in the French Riviera, and home to exclusive villas, the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat and the Rothschild Villa with its breathtaking gardens open for tourists in the Summer months.
This stunning peninsula features a picturesque port, and has a delightful stone path for hiking should you wish to view the entire peninsula by the sea. There's a small beach near the port, and a couple of beach bars, such as the quaint Paloma Beach. Cap-Ferrat is sure to be one of your favourite stops on your charter!
A strikingly beautiful port between Nice and Monaco, Villefranche-Sur-Mer is set into cliffs that rise steeply from the water, beautiful and easily accessed by yacht, this secluded bay is reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast. The medieval port has the requisite red roofs, vaulted passages over cobblestone streets, and a few local bars and restaurants but is best enjoyed from the sea.
The Iles Porquerolles are the biggest of the three Îles d’Or in the Hyères gulf (near Toulon). It is a very popular destination for yachts, offering many bays and harbours and seemingly unspoiled terrain, as 80% of the island is a protected National Park. The island boasts a 3 star Michelin restaurant, the perfect spot to sample the regions fresh seafood. The north of the island offers beautiful sandy beaches!
Beaulieu-sur-Mer is a delightful seaside resort and port right in the heart of the French Riviera. It borders the communes of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Èze, and is just east of Nice and Monaco. Beaulieu is sheltered from the cold Alpine winds thanks to its situation at the base of beautiful cliffs, and is graced with lush vegetation, including oranges, lemons and bananas! Zelo's Beach is known to have a party atmosphere, so why not spend the afternoon here for sundowner cocktails and music!
Eze is a delightful medieval village, perchedon topp of a steep hike or windy drive. The medieval village is utterly charming and you will want to take photographs at every corner it is so photogenic and quaint. With a beautiful view overlooking the deep blue Mediterranean Sea, as well as the headland of St Jean Cap Ferrat, it is well worth a visit. Saunter through the the narrow streets and aesthetic archways which lead you throught the maze of hidden squares and tranquil courtyards. Go to Château Eza for a refreshing beverage and snacks, with a view that is well worth the drink cost, and dine at the infamous la Chèvre d'Or.
Fréjus is well known for its beautiful white sandy beaches and nearby Roman ruins. San Raphael offers a charming old town close to the beach and boasts the third largest marina on the French Riviera. This town is known historically as where Napoleon Bonaparte landed in 1799 upon his return from Egypt.
Most commonly known for some of the finest Côtes de Provence rosé wines, it’s worth taking a trip to the vineyards of Bandol if you have a chance. As well as plenty of wine, Bandol offers sandy beaches, cliffs and inlets nestled into the pine and mimosa covered hills. With spaces for 1,500 yachts & boats, visit Bandol to see the ‘ville tranquille’ for your own eyes.
Cassis is a beautiful old fishing town to the east of Marseille surrounded by stunning cliffs and rock formations. A visit is well worth it, for a relaxing lunch in the port, a hike in the hills, or a side trip to sample the best white wines in the area.
Day 1: Arrive at Nice Côte d’Azur airport in the afternoon, then transfer to your yacht berthed in the Vieux Port of Cannes.
Day 2: Enjoy the morning soaking up the sun at Les Iles de Lerins, lunch at Club 55 St Tropez and Nikki Beach St Tropez for the afternoon. Spend the evening in St Tropez port.
Day 3: A leisurely morning cruise down to the Porquerolles for swimming, biking, and enjoying the peace and quiet. Dinner at Michelin starred restaurant, Le Mas du Langoustier

Day 6: Spend the day in Monaco to discover the finest boutiques, lunch at the Cafe de Paris before an evening of drinks and dinner at Buddha Bar and Nobu. Try your hand in the Monte Carlo casino or dance the night away at the oceanfront TWIGA.
Day 7: Spend the days at anchor overlooking St Jean Cap Ferrat, and take an easy hike around the headland for the best views, before spending the final evening in Nice.

The unique position that the French Riviera holds between the Mediterranean Sea and the French Alps creates a micro-climate of balmy temperatures and sheltered bays the likes of which are rarely seen on the Med. Warm sunny days can be found all year round - its common to lunch in the sun in January and the months of June and September are usually glorious.
