Another Exciting Option for Lunch on Your Luxury Yacht Charter on the French Riviera

With so many flocking to the French Riviera this summer, everybody is looking for somewhere new and exciting to try out as a lunch destination. Of course, all the beach restaurants on the Riviera are highly popular during luxury yacht charters. Whether you are looking for somewhere for a light bite during your day charter, or you have boarded for a week or more and want to venture on to land for a meal, we can advise some of the best beach restaurants to visit.

Juan-Les-Pins is an attractive town in the commune of Antibes, full of life and buzzing with energy. The town has a casual atmosphere, very relaxed and popular with the younger generations who like to party! So, if you want a taste of the high-life that Juan Les Pins has to offer, head to the Restaurant Plage Belles Rives, located just off Port Gallice. The hotel's beach restaurant is in a prime location to watch the yachts coming in and out of the port, with a great view of the Iles de Lérins just off Palm Beach in Cannes; the waters between are also a fantastic spot for trying out a yacht's water toys, so there's always that to watch for some amusement!

Dine on the water's edge with your feet in the sand at the Belles Rives Beach Restaurant. The chef's suggestion for a light lunch includes a seasonal salad, a lobster brochette and a glass of Côtes de Provence Rosé, or try some of the Riviera specialities such as beef tartare, a salad niçoise or seared tuna with a vegetable garnish. After your delightful meal, relax on the beach or pontoon on one of the sun loungers, where the staff will happily continue to serve you drinks and snacks.

Charter Yacht LIZZI - Lazzara 75 - 3 Cabins - Cannes - Mandelieu La Napoule - Antibes

If you're looking to visit Plage Belles Rives, head there on LIZZI, a Lazzara 75. Based in Port La Rague, just off Mandelieu La Napoule and Cannes, she is stylish and sexy, with a modern and classy interior. The use of bright whites and contrasting dark colours give her spacious and 'cool' décor. Out on deck, there is plenty of space for an al fresco breakfast in the sunshine, and sunbathing up front. LIZZI also has plenty of water toys, so you can join the fun in the bay between Juan and Cannes.

A Day in the Life of an Intern, Part V

The Sacs 680 Rib for charter around Cannes and AntibesFollowing on from 'A Day in the Life of an Intern Part IV', Part V will keep you informed as to what else the interns have been up to, including more time spent sailing around Cannes! Now that the summer season is in full swing, the atmosphere is heating up and everybody is looking to get out on the water.

So, some of the interns did! We jumped at the chance to spend a morning on a bareboat with skipper and we took the brand new Sacs 680 Rib out for a spin from Golfe Juan. It really is worth doing the trip, so we know exactly what our clients get when they charter, and it is a great experience.

We headed out from Port Gallice, and at Ben's request, our skipper BaptisteBen tried to take a turn at skippering the boat! sped up. We flew across the water, at 45 knots, past Palm Beach in Cannes, around to the Iles de Lérins; it was an exhilarating ride, with the wind in your hair (or in Charlotte's case, her hair in her face!).

We anchored between Ile Sainte Marguérite and Saint Honorat, where the water is as crystal clear as the waters in the Caribbean Sea. Of course, we took the chance to swim, but as it was still early June the water was still quite fresh! Still, the sun was shining and we couldn't miss out on the turquoise water. We headed away from the islands, and back towards Cannes to have a look at the Croisette from the sea, it's good to see it from a different perspective!

Swimming in the turquoise waters between the Iles de Lérins

We stopped off at Billionaire's Bay, or translated from French 'Fake Money Bay' at Cap d'Antibes, home to the famous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, where many of the big names stayed during the Cannes Film Festival. One of the morning's highlights had to be when we inflated the donut, and all took turns at being towed along behind the boat, at speed; our skipper was definitely trying his hardest to get us in the water! It is obvious why people look for a long list of water toys on their charter, as we had so much fun with just the donut – we can't wait to try and get our hands on a jet ski!

The Winner of the Cannes Film festival: La Vie d’Adele (Blue is the Warmest Colour). Our Yacht Winner – Black and White!

La Vie d'AdeleThe winner of the 66th Cannes Film Festival is La Vie d’Adele (Blue is the Warmest Colour). It is also notable that this steamy lesbian epic has won the highest award on the day when hundreds of thousands of demonstrators marched in Paris on Sunday to protest France's recent legalization of same-sex marriage. CALLISTO      BLACK AND WHITE Luxury Yacht      WILD THYME
After some intense debate, we narrowed the field down to just three yachts. WILD THYME, BLACK AND WHITE and CALLISTO. Chosen for their gorgeous lines, high performance and supreme luxury, they would provide any guests with a charter of a lifetime, yet which one would edge the other out to win Boatbookings Palm d'Or?
And the winner for Best Yacht in the Cannes Film Festival is…..
BLACK AND WHITE as it was ended up sweeping away the field and taking the prize as our favorite yacht from this series of Black and Whiteblogs marking each day of the Cannes Film festival. Her gorgeous lines, immaculate and luxurious interior, fantastic outdoor spaces for sunbathing or al fresco dining and superb crew propelled her to victory.
