How to get to the BVI
When flying into or out of the BVI, you can fly directly to or from the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Tortola. It is then a short taxi right to Road Town, the most common pick up spot on the island. Look out the window as you head to the marina for stunning views of Peter Island in the distance.
Sometimes it is more efficient to fly to or from the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. In this case, you would take a ferry or private water taxi from St. Thomas to Tortola.
How to get to or from St. Thomas
Here are the best ways to travel between St. Thomas and Tortola to make your travel days easier.
Ferries: If you are flying into or out of St. Thomas, you can take the ferry that runs from Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook in St. Thomas to Road Town or West End in Tortola. The ferry schedule varies, so be sure to double-check departure times before booking.
Water Taxis: Private water taxis are also available to provide you with an easier customs process and luxurious entry into the BVI. Additionally, the driver will take you directly to your yacht for a seamless boarding process.
