As you transition from the USVI to the British Virgin Islands, stretch out on the expansive foredeck of your luxury Sunreef yacht and watch the islands pass by in a blur of blue and green. With the wind on your back and a chilled glass of Prosecco in hand, it promises to be an indulgent week.

Joined by a passionate crew, you will be guided by an experienced captain who knows the waters like the back of his hand. With intimate knowledge of the BVI's best hidden gems, top restaurants, and most rewarding hikes, you are guaranteed to hit all the places on your bucket list and maybe discover a few blissful anchorages you never knew you needed to see. Backdropped by golden sunsets, you can dine on the aft deck and savor handmade pastas, fresh lobster, and homemade ice cream, all prepared to your tastes by your professionally trained chef.

The BVI and USVI both offer unforgettable cruising grounds; it can be hard to decide which archipelago you want to experience. Day 1: St John

Family Charter in the Virgin Islands
Afternoon Lunch on Charter in the Virgin Islands

Step onto your luxury crewed catamaran at noon on St. Thomas and meet your wonderful crew. After introductions and a brief tour of your home for the next week, head up to the flybridge for stunning panoramic views of the marina as your captain prepares for your journey to St. John. As one of the three main islands in the USVI, St. John holds many secluded bays and beaches perfect for your first afternoon in the Virgin Islands.

Caneel Bay: Stop for a late lunch at the famous Caneel Bay, where, afterward, the turquoise waters invite you to dive right in for your first snorkel session. If you are feeling up for an adventure, grab a SeaBob and hold on tight as you fly through the waters, looking out for colorful fish and corals along the way.

Maho Bay: A short cruise to Maho Bay will place you in glassy waters made for paddleboarding, kayaking, or strolling along the beach. This is also a great opportunity to stretch out on the sand with your favorite book or board game and soak up the Caribbean sun.

Welcome Dinner: You will anchor for the evening in Maho Bay, and after a full day in the sun, enjoy a gourmet welcome dinner on the aft deck of your private yacht. As the sun casts golden rays across the sky, savor a meal of freshly grilled lobster accompanied by a hand-selected bottle of wine.

Day 2: Norman Island and Peter Island

The Indians
The Indians

Step out of your cabins this morning to a fully prepared breakfast and espresso service on the flybridge. Today, you will cross from the USVI into the BVI, and, after a brief stop at customs, visit some of the top attractions of Norman Island and Peter Island. From exploring famous sea caves to snorkeling vibrant reefs and encountering diverse marine life, adventure waits at every turn.

The Indians: After clearing customs in Tortola, head to The Indians just off Norman Island, where a collection of rocks rises dramatically from the sea. Beneath the surface lies an entire world, ripe for exploration. Grab a snorkel and mask and dive into the water to observe age-old corals and unique fish!

The Caves: Enjoy a quick lunch on the flybridge while your captain cruises to the famous Caves at Treasure Point. This fascinating sight is reputedly the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's book Treasure Island. Swim with the current to see each cave and catch a glance at the amazing tropical fish.

Peter Island: In the late afternoon, you will head to Deadman's Bay on Peter Island. Peak off the side of your yacht and into the water for a chance to view sea turtles along the way. This is a great time to take out a paddleboard and glide across the shore or settle into a shaded spot of sand on the beach with your favorite novel.

For a slower start to your day, step out of your cabins and onto the foredeck with a cup of coffee and watch as the waters glisten with morning light. After a swim with the sea turtles, your next day of BVI adventure awaits! Your captain will guide you toward Virgin Gorda for a day spent exploring the old wrecks and rock formations. End the day at the ever-popular Bitter End Yacht Club, the perfect spot for cocktails and stunning views of the sunset.

Wreck of the Rhone: The first stop on your charter is snorkeling or diving around the famous Wreck of the Rhone, a well-preserved Mail Boat Steamer that sank during a hurricane in 1867. You can see the propeller, the ribs of the boat, and, normally, a few inhabitants, such as a big grouper.

The Baths: Dry off and head north to The Baths, one of the most famous BVI attractions. On the fourth day of your luxury yacht charter, you will cruise north to Anegada. This is the longest journey you will take, but it is completely worth it. Claim your favorite spot on the foredeck and keep an eye out for marine life along the way! Soon you will arrive on the western side of the coral atoll and tender ashore for a day full of island exploration. Here, you can stroll along the beaches, hit a couple of beach bars, or simply float in the water and soak up the sun.

Sail to Anegada: After enjoying Virgin Gorda, it's time for a completely different experience. Sail north to Anegada, past Richard Branson's Necker Island. You will moor at Pomato point on the western side with all the other catamarans, and then it's time for some water sports or a long walk on the beach.

Cow Wreck Beach Bar: For a relaxed day on the beach with your favorite drink, head to the Cow Wreck Beach Bar. The uninhabited sandy beaches are the perfect place to stretch out on the sand and get some sun. If you feel like getting in the water, maybe partake in an E-Foiling adventure or simply float on a tube.

Lobster Dinner: You cannot miss one of the BVI's most famous attractions: lobster dinners! Step ashore in the evening for grilled lobster caught that day and barbecued on the beach. End the night with some sundowners and maybe some dancing in the sand!

Sail to Guana Island: As your captain prepares for the journey to Guana Island, make your way up to the flybridge and find your favorite spot to watch as Anegada fades into the distance. Along the way, keep an eye out for pods of dolphins.

Beach Day: Drop anchor at Guana Island and gather your favorite water toys and games for a beach day. The afternoon will unfold in a series of leisurely swims, calm waters, and unwinding on untouched sands.

Dinner on Board: After an unhurried day doing exactly as you please, head back to your yacht for a dinner specially prepared by your private chef. Gather with your group on the aft deck, where a plate of poached sea scallops in a velvety white wine mornay sauce awaits.
