Brand New Delivery of a 40m San Lorenzo Super Yacht for the Ruler of Dubai

The UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai took delivery of a brand new luxury 40m San Lorenzo super yacht at this years Dubai International Boat Show. The spectacular 40 Alloy model is an aluminium designed superyacht with a planing hull. It was handed over to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, and Dubai Ruler on the 9th March at the Dubai International Boat Show. The yacht had been on display for the five-day show docked at San Lorenzo’s stand, overlooking the iconic Burj al Arab Hotel.

The Sheikh’s super yacht took just one year to come to fruition at San Lorenzo’s shipyard in Italy. It was then shipped to the Middle East via special cargo transport from Genoa, before passing through the Suez Canal where it entered the Red Sea. The yacht finally arrived in Dubai after about 15 days transit.

So what can you expect from this luxury super yacht? On the lower deck, there are two double and two triple cabins, which can accommodate up to ten guests in lavish surroundings. Her crew quarters can accommodate 6, as well as the capatain. Two MTU 2775 HP engines provide guests with great performance and comfort whilst on board, with a cruising speed of roughly 25 knots.
