We all know and admire the luxury, performance, craftsmanship, design and durability of Nautors Swan sailing yachts. There are many specimens available for charter, some in better condition than others, and there’s only one for your Greece sailing vacations!
There is however one Swan that definitely outpaces all her sisterships: CALLISTO, a Swan 77, extended version. CALLISTO was built in 1995 as one of the biggest Swans at the time and, having had only 2 owners who have spared no expense to keep her in prime condition, she is in immaculate condition still.
The glamour and excitement of the Cannes Film Festival is such that the final day is already upon us! The most prestigious film festival in the world has passed in a whirlwind of celebrities, fast cars, and flashing sequins. Yet it is also never one to go out with a whisper. The final day of the 66th Festival de Cannes will close with a screening of the thriller Zulu by Jerome Salle featuring acting heavy weights Orlando Bloom who we know from films such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings and Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland, Ghost Dog).
It is an adaptation of the fantastic novel of the same name by Caryl Ferey which was awarded the Grand prix de litterature policiere in 2008. This powerful film sees cops, Orlando Bloom and Forest Whitaker team up in an attempt to bring the murderer of an 18 year old girl to justice in a South Africa still rife with racial and social tensions from the apartheid.
Taking inspiration from Orlando Blooms Pirates of the Caribbean, our yacht nominee for Zulu is CALLISTO! With William Turners affinity for sailing we thought that this stunning Nautors Swan 80 would be the perfect way to relax and unwind after two weeks of attending the hectic Cannes Film Festival.
She accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 cabins and is available to charter aroundGreece and the islands of Paros and Mykonos. Her gorgeous interior, hand-crafted in teak, leather upholstery and multiple award-winning chef would be fit for kings let alone pirates!

The Greek Islands are some of the most beautiful in the world, providing charterers with an incredible experience of culture, history and natural beauty. We have come up with a brilliant 7-day itinerary, starting in Athens with stops at Mykonos, Paros and Santorini. Get ready for traditional Greek tavernas, brilliant seafood and a host of small shops and bars!
Day 1 – ATHENS – KEA
Kea is an exceptionally picturesque island. On the south side of Nikolaos Bay – which was a pirate stronghold in the 13th c. – lies the little port of Korissia, built on the side of ancient Korissia. One of our highlights is the beautiful anchorage of Poleis. Vourkari is a small bay with many traditional taverns, small shops and bars and is certainly worth a visit.
Day 2 – KEA – SYROS
The beautiful harbour at Syros is a landmark in Greek history. The beauty of this island is mostly due to its superb capital, which has many Venetian and Neo–Classical buildings, and to its many small villages which are examples of Cycladic settlements.
Day 3 – SYROS – MYKONOS
The most popular island of Cyclades Group, famous from the international jet set visitors. Mykonos is the St Tropez of the Greek Islands. A very active night-life in combination with beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants makes this place a must see in your list.
Day 4 – MYKONOS – PAROS
Considered as one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades. Three bays cut deep inland – in the west, the sheltered Paroikia Bay, with the island’s capital that serves as the main sailing port. In the north the bay which shelters the little town of Naoussa, which in Roman times was the island’s main port for the shipment of Lychnites marble; and in the east the flat Marmara bay. Paros is on the way of becoming the next Mykonos, especially among Greeks, it has fantastic night life and plenty of choices for dining.
Day 5 – PAROS – NAXOS
Naxos is one of the biggest islands of Cyclades. The old town market, the Venetian castle, the church of Panagia Mirtidiotissa are only but a few of the many things that Naxos has to offer to the visitors. It is an island with impressive mountainous landscapes with many isolated traditional villages and some of Europe’s most beautiful golden sandy beaches. Everybody who visits Naxos comes back, it is a unique place with more than 98 km of breathtaking sandy beaches.
Day 6 – NAXOS – IOS
A small island in the heart of the Cyclades – Ios is said to be the island of youth, where young people from all over the world meet and enjoy their summers. Famous for its vivid nightlife with an uncountable number of bars, cafés, clubs and restaurants and for its beaches with crystal clear waters. The little port of Ios, with the domed Church of Ayia Irini (17th c.) lies in a sheltered bay on the west coast of the island. One kilometre up the fertile Kato Kampos Valley, conspicuously and picturesquely situated on the hillside, is the chief place on the island, Ios.

Our Brokers inspect hundreds of luxury yachts yearly, but end up recommending a small percentage of those over and over again. Why? Because they know that the combination of Yacht quality, Captain, Crew and Value are sure to give you a fantastic charter. Every time.
So we’ve created pages for each of our Brokers, so that you can see immediately their favorite yachts. We’ll start with Mimi Andain’s favorites below. She focuses on luxury yacht charter ‘s in the Mediterranean. A few the yachts she loves to put clients on:
Under gorgeous sunny skies, the Monaco Yacht Show unveiled 100 Super Yachts, stunning tenders and 500 exhibitors on Wednesday the 21st. There was no shortage of hot tubs, entertainment rooms, fancy navigation gear, and water toys. The crowd seemed a bit thicker and more upbeat this year than last, but we’ll wait for the official statistics.
We saw fewer sailing yachts than in past years (one Swan, one Perini-Navi, one Wally, and Hemisphere, the world’s largest catamaran), but a greater emphasis on Green Yachting (go figure). We will detail some of the individual yachts we saw in upcoming posts, but show favorites included Yogi, Excellence III, and Cakewalk – measuring in at 85 meters. More updates to come, but we wanted to at least share some images with you for weekend dreaming!
