Explore the Beautiful Lake Garda on a Classic Riva Aquarama

Lake GardaLake Garda is the largest lake in Italy, spanning almost 52km in length, located just west of Verona. Sitting in a stunning alpine valley, the scenery and architecture are picturesque. The lake is well known for its water sports and outdoor activities. Whether you want to try your hand at kite surfing, wind surfing or mountain biking, the choices are endless! There are many towns spotted around Lake Garda, one being the fortified town of Sirmione, home to the Scaglier castle complete with a rare example of port fortification – the town is also famous for its thermal springs.

Given the size of Lake Garda and the many places to visit along its shore, the best way to take the chance to explore them is of course by boat. With so much water around, it is the most obvious option! This Riva Aquarama is a fantastic classic style speedboat,
Riva-Aquarama-yachtand has been likened to the Ferrari of the boat and yachting world. Carved from mahogany wood, the Riva Aquarama comes with its own unique vintage image. The Aquarama has featured in films such as GoldenEye, and was also driven by Jude Law in a recent Dior advert – the boat is clearly a stylish and popular choice! Exploring the Greek Islands on a Luxury Sailing Yacht

Athens - Mykonos - Paros - Santorini

The Greek Islands are some of the most beautiful in the world, providing charterers with an incredible experience of culture, history and natural beauty. We have come up with a brilliant 7-day itinerary, starting in Athens with stops at Mykonos, Paros and Santorini. Get ready for traditional Greek tavernas, brilliant seafood and a host of small shops and bars!

Day 1 – ATHENS – KEA

Kea is an exceptionally picturesque island. On the south side of Nikolaos Bay – which was a pirate stronghold in the 13th c. – lies the little port of Korissia, built on the side of ancient Korissia. One of our highlights is the beautiful anchorage of Poleis. Vourkari is a small bay with many traditional taverns, small shops and bars and is certainly worth a visit.

Day 2 – KEA – SYROS CALLISTO - the luxurious Nautors Swan of the Aegean

The beautiful harbour at Syros is a landmark in Greek history. The beauty of this island is mostly due to its superb capital, which has many Venetian and Neo–Classical buildings, and to its many small villages which are examples of Cycladic settlements.

Day 3 – SYROS – MYKONOS

The most popular island of Cyclades Group, famous from the international jet set visitors. Mykonos is the St Tropez of the Greek Islands. A very active night-life in combination with beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants makes this place a must see in your list.

Day 4 – MYKONOS – PAROS

Considered as one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades. Three bays cut deep inland – in the west, the sheltered Paroikia Bay, with the island’s capital that serves as the main sailing port. In the north the bay which shelters the little town of Naoussa, which in Roman times was the island’s main port for the shipment of Lychnites marble; and in the east the flat Marmara bay. Paros is on the way of becoming the next Mykonos, especially among Greeks, it has fantastic night life and plenty of choices for dining.

Day 5 – PAROS – NAXOS

Luxurious entertainment spacesNaxos is one of the biggest islands of Cyclades. The old town market, the Venetian castle, the church of Panagia Mirtidiotissa are only but a few of the many things that Naxos has to offer to the visitors.  It is an island with impressive mountainous landscapes with many isolated traditional villages and some of Europe’s most beautiful golden sandy beaches. Everybody who visits Naxos comes back, it is a unique place with more than 98 km of breathtaking sandy beaches.

Day 6 – NAXOS – IOS

A small island in the heart of the Cyclades – Ios is said to be the island of youth, where young people from all over the world meet and enjoy their summers. Luxurious stateroomsFamous for its vivid nightlife with an uncountable number of bars, cafés, clubs and restaurants and for its beaches with crystal clear waters. The little port of Ios, with the domed Church of Ayia Irini (17th c.) lies in a sheltered bay on the west coast of the island. One kilometre up the fertile Kato Kampos Valley, conspicuously and picturesquely situated on the hillside, is the chief place on the island, Ios.

Day 7 – IOS – SANTORINI

Santorini has become one of the most iconic islands in the world, thanks to its setting, delicious cuisine and wines, as well as the breathtaking views over the submerged volcano. Whether you are looking for a beach with red, white or black sand, Santorini has it all! Our favourite luxury sailing yacht in this region is the stunning CALISTO, an 80ft Nautors Swan. She has 3 spacious staterooms, accommodating up to 6 guests, making this a very popular choice for families.

With 13,380 visitors attending last year from all around the world, the show is only getting bigger and better. It will lay down the marker for the year to come and is crucial for developing business relationships and for that all important networking in the industry.

This year the prerogative of the Antibes Yacht Show is to ‘create optimal conditions for a pre-season market for yachts and super-yachts, giving buyers a unique opportunity to purchase or book their dream yacht for the upcoming summer season.’ However, even if you are not looking at buying a yacht it is still a fascinating event to visit. There is everything from stands showing the newest in interior yacht design to the latest water toys and accessories available today. This year, the Antibes Yacht Show is focusing on yachts of 20 metres and over and so it is the perfect opportunity to go and oggle, admire and appreciate some of the best and biggest yachts the industry has to offer!

This year bidders have already registered in numbers for the auction that is taking place on Saturday 20th April, why not go down and see how much some of the mega yachts are sold for! On auction this year is:
