About the BVI Charter Yacht Show
The BVI Charter Yacht Show is an annual industry event organized by the Charter Yacht Society, showcasing the crewed charter fleet of the British Virgin Islands. The 2026 edition, also known as the Fall Charter Show, takes place across two marinas: Nanny Cay Marina on Tortola and Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour on Virgin Gorda.
The show gives registered charter brokers and industry professionals the opportunity to tour participating yachts, meet their crews and learn what makes each onboard experience distinctive. The fleet includes luxury crewed yachts, sailing catamarans and power catamarans, with additional marine businesses showcasing the services and products that support the local charter industry.

Boatbookings at the BVI Charter Yacht Show
Our Boatbookings team attends the show every year to get to know the yachts and crews firsthand. We spend time aboard each vessel, exploring the layouts and guest accommodations, speaking with the crew, sampling their menus and trying the craft cocktails prepared for the upcoming charter season.
These visits are an essential part of how we work. A yacht's photographs can show its design and facilities, but spending time onboard gives us a much better feel for its atmosphere, service and personality. We take these details into account when recommending a yacht, helping us find the right match for each client's preferences.

The yacht-viewing program is designed for registered charter brokers and industry professionals. A scheduled daily shuttle connects Nanny Cay Marina and Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour, allowing attendees to visit yachts at both locations. On November 13, viewing at Nanny Cay ends at noon, while yachts at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour remain open until 4:00 PM.

What to Expect at the BVI Charter Yacht Show
Yacht Viewings and Crew Introductions
The highlight of the show is the opportunity to step aboard the participating charter yachts. Brokers can explore the cabins, guest spaces and onboard facilities while meeting the captains and crew who will be welcoming guests throughout the season.
These conversations offer insight into each yacht's service style, onboard atmosphere and special features. They also give brokers a chance to understand the personalities and experience of the people responsible for each charter.
Culinary, Cocktail and Table Design Competitions
Food and hospitality are central to the BVI charter experience, and the show's competitions give yacht crews an opportunity to demonstrate their talents. The culinary competition highlights the creativity and skill of onboard chefs, while the cocktail competition celebrates imaginative drinks inspired by Caribbean flavors.
The TableScaping Competition focuses on the art of setting the table for a special occasion. Expect thoughtful details, creative presentation and ideas for celebrations at sea.Â
Designer Water Competition
The Designer Water Competition gives crews a chance to present their onboard drinking water with creativity and care. The contest also highlights ways to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles, reflecting the importance of more thoughtful practices aboard charter yachts.Â
Marine Marketplace and Evenings on the Docks
The show extends beyond the yachts themselves. Its Marine Marketplace gives brokers and crews the chance to meet local businesses offering provisioning, wine and spirits, water taxi services, spa treatments and other charter-related services.
Evenings on the docks offer another chance to experience the hospitality onboard. Participating yachts host visitors with canapés, cocktails and music, giving brokers a taste of the atmosphere guests can expect during their stay.Â
Final Dinner and Awards
The show closes with a farewell dinner and awards ceremony recognizing the yachts and crews that stood out during the event. Awards include categories such as Best in Show, Culinary, Cocktail and TableScaping, celebrating the talent and attention to detail that go into an exceptional charter.

Nanny Cay Marina is located along Tortola's sheltered southern coast. It serves as the main registration and show location, with participating yachts displayed throughout its inner and outer marina. The waterfront setting also provides access to restaurants and other marina facilities.
Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour, Virgin Gorda
Located in Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour hosts additional participating yachts as part of the 2026 show. Its marina offers another setting for brokers to explore the fleet, with scheduled shuttle services connecting it to Nanny Cay throughout the event.
