Milazzo is a small town located in the north-east of Sicily, on a narrow peninsula on the Tyrrhenian coastline that stretches about six or seven kilometers into the sea.
The tip of the peninsula is called Capo Milazzo and offers a variety of restaurants perched on a cliff. With a population of about 30,000 people, it is usually the port of embarkation to the outstanding Aeolian or Lipari Islands. The town is overlooked by a beautiful medieval castle, Castello di Milazzo.
