Discovering the Beauty of Sardinia on your Luxury Yacht Charter! – Part 2 – La Maddalena

La Maddalena Archipelago is one of the most spectacular highlights of Sardinia. Consisting of 62 islands and islets with 180 km of coast and covering a surface area of 5,134 hectares it provides a plethora of inlets and coves to explore on your charter. Every single island is enclosed in a cocoon of national marine conservation extending 300 – 500 meters into the ocean and makes up the national park of the archipelago, La Maddalena. This insures that La Maddalena is one of the most unique places in the Mediterranean and will continue to be so.

Why not stop off at the island, La Maddalena, the only one inhabited in this Archipelago, and dine on its fantastic Mediterranean cuisine at Locanda del Mirto? Then you could sail across to the island of Caprera where Giuseppe Garibaldi spent the last years of his life and visit his house and tomb. The lack of people you will see on your trip around this Island chain only serves to make the charter all the more special.

Budelli Island is also a must see on your charter and is just one of many examples of this areas natural beauty! The striking cliffs on Razzoli Island that supposedly resemble Henry Moore’s sculptures and La Spiaggia Rosa, more commonly known as the Pink Beach both epitomize La Maddalena National Park.

If you are interested in chartering in Sardinia why not charter CARLA – a Lagoon 400, accommodating up to 11 guests in 4 cabins, its low draft and large amounts of space make this Catamaran a perfect platform for visiting those secluded coves and sandy bays. Charter a Luxury Bareboat Catamaran Out Of St Raphael!

St Raphael is in prime position on the French Riviera, where you can sail to St Tropez within an hour, and easily within sailing distance of the glamour of Cannes, and even Monaco. The port is exceptional, with plenty of yachts of all shapes and sizes to see. Along the quay, there are numerous restaurants to visit before and after your charter, and nearby there is a great supermarket for all of your provisioning needs. For more information about a yacht charter on the French Riviera, please see here.

This morning, we visited some of the newest and hottest catamarans for bareboat charters, including the fantastic Lagoon 380 and brand new Lagoon 450! The catamarans shown in the photo above are Lagoon 410 S2 (left) and Lagoon 380 (right). We were extremely impressed with all of the yachts available, especially the Lagoon 400, 380 and 450.

The interior of the Lagoon 450 reminded us of larger luxury yachts, with a Bose sound system, a beautiful flybridge, and an extremely spacious interior. For a list of yachts available in St Raphael, please click here.

Charter a Luxury Yacht in the Seychelles

As an island country, the Seychelles are a perfect destination to charter a boat. With islands scattered in the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles offer stunning beaches and fabulous scenery. With the chance to watch birds and giant tortoises in their natural habitat, the Seychelles sells itself on its ecotourism – but it’s even more spectacular to visit the Seychelles underwater.

So, why not take the plunge while sailing around on your holiday? The Seychelles invite you to explore its underwater world, so you cannot refuse the chance to experience the amazing marine life and scenery of its underworld. A whole variety of sea life, including  sharks, stingrays and octopuses, can be found once you enter the clear blue waters from your yacht. It’s understandable that people want to charter a yacht with snorkel or scuba diving equipment – taking a dip on these waters is, without a doubt, unforgettable! Even if you aren’t an experienced diver, using a mask and snorkel will still give you an amazing view of this underwater world; everybody can experience the vibrant colours and activity of what goes on below sea level.

This Lagoon 400 catamaran is an ideal choice if you
want to try out the waters around the Seychelles – not only do you have snorkel gear at your disposition, there is also scuba diving equipment available on request. This catamaran provides easy access to the water, further encouraging you to take the plunge underwater, and when you get back on board there is plenty of space on deck to lie in the sun and dry off while you can reflect on what you might have just experienced! If you would like to receive more information with regards to booking your luxury charter yacht in the Seychelles, please enquire through our website, where one of our senior brokers will be happy to help you plan the experience of a lifetime.
