Our Charter Experts On Board Codecasa 205 APOGEE: Reaching the Apex of Superyacht Engineering and Design

APOGEE is a stunning 205 foot Codecasa with an aristocratic aesthetic that is enthusiastically appreciated by admirers of traditional interiors rich in mahogany and marble, superior amenities, and impressive sea keeping capabilities. The yacht is equipped with state of the art electronics, an excellent stabilization system and engines that propel her to a surprising top speed of 17 knots with a 6,000nm range.

APOGEE is a yacht of surprises, opulently designed with classic Old World elegance; zany elements like the jukebox and disco ball in the skylounge add just the right dash of playfulness. APOGEE also has the most impressive on deck gym we’ve ever seen, indispensible in offsetting the effects of the talented Chef. And, if guests become a bit overzealous in their calorie depleting workout, Coral, the capable Second Stew, is qualified to massage away the strain.

Notable features aboard APOGEE include a spacious formal dining room with seating for twelve, a skylounge that beckons a theme party, and superb outdoor deck arrangements on every level. Not surprisingly, we are told that guests generally prefer casual outdoor dining, with alluring options on the aft and upper decks. However, the supremely elegant formal dining room provides the raison de d’être to dress for dinner.

APOGEE has six luxurious staterooms to accommodate 12 guests, each with ample storage and opulent bathrooms. The master compartment includes a generous lounge area and handsome office that blends perfectly with the sophisticated surrounding décor. A nanny cabin is a real plus for guests accompanied by children or staff.

The elevator amidships, which conveniently accesses all deck levels, takes us smoothly up to the skylounge. Here, within a vast space suitable for ballroom dancing, Neno is busy behind the sweeping bar preparing a colorful array of enticing cocktails. On APOGEE, 17 crew members are charming, attentive and multitalented, and Neno is no exception. His abilities include bartender, server, butler, housekeeper and laundryman.

APOGEE is a stunning yacht with a highly skilled and delightful crew that expertly cater to the individual needs of each guest. The ambiance on board APOGEE is supremely comfortable, the atmosphere delightfully convivial, and the accommodations are luxuriously plush. APOGEE effortlessly launches her esteemed guests to the absolute apex of the charter experience.

Our Charter Experts On Board Trinity 160’ ANJILIS: Sophistication with a Touch of Whimsy

We were delighted with an invitation to board ANJILIS in Fort Lauderdale, just a day before she heads to New York. ANJILIS is a magnificent 160’ Trinity with interiors by renowned designer Glade Johnson. ANJILIS is supremely stylish without being stuffy, sophisticated and most welcoming. Art Deco inspired interiors feature custom marquetry, elaborate stone inlays and luxurious furnishings.

The main salon features a unique corner organ bar, a cozy and convivial lounge area where the owner enjoys playing the organ for his guests, and placing his tip jar front and center. He seems to be a man of humor and sentimentality, ANJILIS, is a combination of his children’s names.

We are told that the exquisite formal dining room doesn’t get as much use as the alfresco dining areas, but is a wonderful option that comfortably seats 10 guests. The stunning table compliments contrasting maple, teak, cherry woods and marble inlays that meld in a sumptuous display.

ANJILIS feels comfortable to live on board. The main deck master suite is palatial, with five televisions so you needn’t miss a word. The bath is white Afghanistan onyx with a shower that connects his and hers sides, his with a full bathtub and hers with a vanity. Guest accommodations on the lower level include an unusually large twin stateroom with desk and Pullman, perfect for two children and a nanny. The other three staterooms are all equal kings, apart from differences in bathroom facilities. The overall feeling on the lower level is one of calm, with a soothing color palette in tones of sea and sand.

ANJILIS has lots of entertaining options. The versatile and spacious skylounge is ideal for virtually any type of clientele, making an easy transition from an inviting family gathering to an elite corporate cocktail party. The upper deck, equipped with an outdoor shower and day head, Jacuzzi, barbeque and ample seating for a crowd, is perfect for events under the sun or stars.

ANJILIS is a very busy yacht, about to piggyback on Dockwise from Fort Lauderdale to Genoa, then cruising the Greek Islands and the Riviera with back to back bookings. Alicia Ewing, Chief Stewardess, knows one important reason why ANJILIS is so popular. “I think that the crew makes a huge difference,” she explains. Families and groups that come onboard ANJILIS don’t want a stuffy experience. We’ve had very down to earth people that really want to have a good time. Our crew is fun and young and vivacious and we really want to set up the beach barbeques and fun things to do. We want them to walk off the yacht saying that was the best vacation ever!” And a loyal, repeat clientele proves guests are saying just that.
