Benetti is one of the premier names in Super Yachts, evoking class, Italian design and style. Benetti is based in Darsena, Italy (near Genoa), and has been building boats since Lorenzo Benetti opened the shipyard in 1873. In 1985, Azimut took over the shipyard and renamed it Azimut-Benetti.

Benetti boast almost 150 years of history, more than 300 boats built, over 300,000 sq m (3.229.173 sq.ft) of production facilities at six shipyards in Italy and 45 yachts under construction at the present time, including 3 giga yachts of 90 mt and longer. Benetti claim to have more SuperYachts in progress than any other builder and have consistently lead the world in the number of Super Yachts produced. Their composite yachts range in size from 100 to 145 feet, and steel/aluminium from 50 to 70+ metres.
