Heesen Yachts Delivers 164’ Semi Displacement Performance Yacht SARTORI to New Owner in Monaco: Owner Applies for Acceptance in “La Belle Classe Superyacht”

The prolific Dutch shipyard has delivered another magnificent build.  SARTORI, with a top speed of 24 knots, is among the world’s fastest and most efficient 50meter builds. The innovative hard-chine hull combined with Hessen’s weight reduction technology and equipped with a pair of high power-to-weight ratio MTU 2.720kW engines, results in top speed, greater fuel economy, and an impressive range of 3.200 NM at 12 knots. Frank Laupman from Omega Architects is responsible for the elegantly streamlined exterior styling. The owner appointed the award-winning French designer, Rémi Tessier, to create the stylish interior.

The Owner will also apply to be part of “La Belle Classe Superyacht”, a certification created by the Yacht Club de Monaco to unite owners who share similar yachting values. Our Charter Experts On Board Trinity 160’ ANJILIS: Sophistication with a Touch of Whimsy

We were delighted with an invitation to board ANJILIS in Fort Lauderdale, just a day before she heads to New York. ANJILIS is a magnificent 160’ Trinity with interiors by renowned designer Glade Johnson. ANJILIS is supremely stylish without being stuffy, sophisticated and most welcoming. Art Deco inspired interiors feature custom marquetry, elaborate stone inlays and luxurious furnishings.

The main salon features a unique corner organ bar, a cozy and convivial lounge area where the owner enjoys playing the organ for his guests, and placing his tip jar front and center. He seems to be a man of humor and sentimentality, ANJILIS, is a combination of his children’s names.

We are told that the exquisite formal dining room doesn’t get as much use as the alfresco dining areas, but is a wonderful option that comfortably seats 10 guests. The stunning table compliments contrasting maple, teak, cherry woods and marble inlays that meld in a sumptuous display.

ANJILIS feels comfortable to live on board. The main deck master suite is palatial, with five televisions so you needn’t miss a word. The bath is white Afghanistan onyx with a shower that connects his and hers sides, his with a full bathtub and hers with a vanity. Guest accommodations on the lower level include an unusually large twin stateroom with desk and Pullman, perfect for two children and a nanny. The other three staterooms are all equal kings, apart from differences in bathroom facilities. The overall feeling on the lower level is one of calm, with a soothing color palette in tones of sea and sand.

ANJILIS has lots of entertaining options. The versatile and spacious skylounge is ideal for virtually any type of clientele, making an easy transition from an inviting family gathering to an elite corporate cocktail party. The upper deck, equipped with an outdoor shower and day head, Jacuzzi, barbeque and ample seating for a crowd, is perfect for events under the sun or stars.

ANJILIS is a very busy yacht, about to piggyback on Dockwise from Fort Lauderdale to Genoa, then cruising the Greek Islands and the Riviera with back to back bookings. Alicia Ewing, Chief Stewardess, knows one important reason why ANJILIS is so popular. “I think that the crew makes a huge difference,” she explains. Families and groups that come onboard ANJILIS don’t want a stuffy experience. We’ve had very down to earth people that really want to have a good time. Our crew is fun and young and vivacious and we really want to set up the beach barbeques and fun things to do. We want them to walk off the yacht saying that was the best vacation ever!” And a loyal, repeat clientele proves guests are saying just that.

Our Charter Experts Onboard Luxury Yacht HERA-C: Retro Elegance in a Modern Context

HERA-C is truly a gentleman’s yacht, reminiscent of a period when well-heeled aristocrats dedicated time to the pleasures of cruising for business and pleasure. HERA-C perfectly recreates this era, yet in a modern context.

HERA-C is an ideal charter yacht for the important events season in the South of France. This luxury yacht is an excellent option for discreet charter clients who require lots of space for business meetings and cocktail parties, without breaking the bank.

Luxury yacht HERA-C is totally refit to accommodate the requirements of today’s charter clientele without sacrifice to Old World elegance. Updated interiors are designed to compliment an abundance of rich mahogany. A soothing pale color palette of golden tones, Tiffany turquoise, deep sea blue and crisp white, contrast pleasantly with glossy wood finishes and spotless fixtures.

HERA-C is a veteran at MIPIM, MIPTV, and Cannes, featuring seven distinct meeting areas that can be configured to suit any guest requirement, even in inclement weather. In fact, we visited the yacht during a downpour and can attest to the level of comfort despite the rain. The spacious main deck opens to a well-protected aft deck creating an extensive social space. HERA-C has hosted cocktail affairs of up to 50 guests and dining is available for up to 40 guests with seating for 24 on the upper level and 16 in the main dining area.

HERA-C is a tranquil, comfortable and steady yacht; with a knowledgeable British Captain whose experience navigating the Mediterranean Sea dates back to the launch of this Dutch built, steel hull, displacement yacht. He is very relaxed and delighted to oblige charter clients at any time and most willingly books his time accordingly.

We found the crew to be extremely solicitous and utterly charming, although additional staff will be required for any large-scale social event. The crew is easygoing and particularly skilled with children. On our visit the Chef, who hails from Malta, treated us to a delicate fish with asparagus and a mixed zesty aubergine puree with tasty sun-dried tomato layers. We also indulged in a lovely Piper Heidsick and an excellent white wine pared perfectly with the fish.

HERA-C is a yacht that assures a relaxed yet dignified atmosphere to guests in attendance at the prestigious events scheduled in the South of France. This stylish and seaworthy vessel is still available but, given her previous charter history, is likely to book quickly.

Dockwise Yacht Transport and Floating Life: A Match Made in Heaven

Some unions are meant to be, and when Floating Life, an international yacht management and service company, was introduced to Dockwise Yacht Transport a year and a half ago, it seemed a match made in heaven. Floating Life bears responsibility for some of the world’s most prestigious yachts and demands the highest degree of professional competence from those involved with the coordination of countless technical, administrative and logistical details. In the case of transporting Floating Life’s three 131- foot Norman Foster-designed luxury superyachts back and forth between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, Floating Life entrusted Dockwise Yacht Transport.

MY Ocean Emerald, MY Ocean Pearl and MY Ocean Sapphire are the basis of Floating Life’s unique fractional ownership program, by which 24 families have owner access to the yachts for a specified number of days per year. With fractional ownership, these families are able to reserve their cruise dates, are assured safety and first class service, and significantly reduce cruising costs.

The yachts will be berthed in Greece, Sardinia and the south of France this summer. Toward that end, both Ocean Emerald and Ocean Pearl completed a voyage in March from Martinique to Toulon aboard Dockwise Yacht Transport’s Super Servant 4.

Dockwise owns a total of four yacht carriers, including the 686-foot (209 meter) super ship Yacht Express, and operates on a regular schedule to deliver yachts around the world. The ships, looking something like giant moving marinas when they come to town, use their unique loading method to allow yachts of any size to be safely floated on and off as cargo. The carriers submerge themselves by pumping nine million gallons of water into their ballast tanks; the vessels are floated into place one-by-one, then sea-fastened before the ship pumps dry to prepare for boat transport. Once the ship reaches its final destination, the process is reversed so the yachts can safely disembark with captains, owners and/or crews aboard to take them by their own power to new adventures. Dockwise Yacht Transport also orchestrates lift-on/lift-off arrangements with third-party carriers for clients wanting a more flexible shipping schedule or to explore destinations where the float-on/float-off ships are not scheduled to go.
