Captain and Chef Joseph was raised on a family farm in the Pacific Northwest and holds dual degrees in Culinary Arts and Patisserie & Baking from the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon. After five years as a private chef aboard the 120’ motor yacht Freedom, he relocated to the Virgin Islands in 2009 to pursue his passion for the ocean. Since 2019, he and Britta have welcomed guests aboard Grace, combining his culinary expertise and local knowledge to deliver personalized charters featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and authentic island flavors.

Originally from Florida, Britta moved to St. Croix in 2005 as a PADI Dive Instructor and developed extensive knowledge of local reefs and marine life. After three years aboard the 50’ catamaran Dianna Rose, she and Joseph brought their personalized approach to Grace, creating tailored scuba and snorkeling adventures for guests of all experience levels. Her passion for the underwater world and dedication to exceptional hospitality help make every charter memorable.
