A returning Boatbookings client asked us to organize a day charter from Cannes to St Tropez, with stops in the Iles Lerins and Agay for swimming, lunch at Nikki Beach, e-foiling around Ramatuelle Beach, and a quick view of the Old Port of St Tropez. This is a packed agenda that can only be accomplished with a powerful boat that significantly reduces the cruising time.
We found the perfect yacht. We arranged for them to charter on Tayyarah, a super-sleek, AB Yachts 78 ft motor yacht that uses waterjet propulsion rather than conventional propellers and cruises at 32 knots with a top speed of 43+ knots! She literally races past other yachts at almost twice the speed. She also has ample water toys, including an e-foil, Seabob, and a flotation deck, all managed by a skilled deck hand, giving our guests the dream day they were looking for.

She arrived promplty at 10 in Port Canto, on the west side of Cannes. Port Canto offers much easier parking than at the Old Port. After a greeting and safety briefing from the attentive crew, our guests raced to Agay, anchoring just outside the bay, while enjoying fruit, coffee and local pastries. Mediterranean water in June is the perfect temperature, and all of the guests had a refershing swim while marvelling at the beauty of the red rocks of the Esterel.

We arranged for a 12:30 lunch reservation at Nikki Beach, so off they went to Ramatuelle, getting there right on time to take the tender to the beach and walk the short path to Nikki Beach. This famous restaurant/club is an oaisis of tree-covered beauty, and the food is sensational. Each dish is “Instagram-ready” and made from the freshest ingredients available. Try the “Sexy Salad” and fresh sea bass. With a saxophonist in the background, they throoughly enjoyed their long, leisurly lunch (and people watching, of course!)
After lunch, it was water toy time, and the 20-year olds thoroughly enjoyed the E-foil, Seabob, and swim platform. Then around the peninsula to the famous old port of St Tropez, resplendent as always.

After walking the Old Port, they zipped back to the Lerin Islands, just off the port of Cannes, with time for a swim and a charcuterie plate, while the sun began setting in the distance.
The perfect day out to St Tropez!

Offsetting the emissions.
The trip consumed 1500 litres of fuel. We arranged for our guests to offset the carbon emissions, through the United Nations Carbon Offset program. These emissions were offset by contributing to installing solar panels in Africa, under UN supervision.
