Kingship’s 140-ft. ESSENCE: More Details Revealed at Monaco Show

ESSENCE`s impressive and innovative features were finally revealed in detail at the Monaco Yacht Show last week. Most notable is the full-beam Master Deck with large wrapping windows, sliding roof and forward-facing balcony. There is also an aft sundeck that converts from a private to a shared space.

Another architectural surprise is the location of the bridge on the main deck rather than the upper deck. The bridge connects directly to the galley and crew mess to allow for discreet circulation.  Tender and launching systems are located beneath the huge forward sunpads. Convenient exterior passageways encircle the superstructure and allow guests and crew to get around the yacht with ease.

ESSENCE has a full displacement hull powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines with a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and trans-pacific range. She accommodates two owners and eight guests in five cabins  with a crew of eight.
