Thank you for a truly exceptional holiday. From the moment we set eyes on Nadamas (and expressed our delight) to our last breakfast heading to Monemvasia, we have enjoyed wonderful hospitality, fabulous sailing, pristine waters and the most relaxing afternoons. The itinerary was perfect for us; thank you Costas for seeking out peaceful anchorages away from the party flotillas. Elizabeth`s cooking is incredible! Every meal was delicious and so thoughtfully prepared. We have been indulged for a glorious week. Thank you Boatbookings!
We chartered the Meliti in August of 2019. There really are no words to describe how incredible it was. The crew works together as a seamless unit. Stelios is an incredibly talented pilot, but also a leader. Grigoria must be one of the best chefs in all of Greece and Kat takes her support role so professionally and seriously. They share duties in a way many crews do not and you can really see a bond among them. There the 9th charter of the season for them and they had 7-8 more after ours, and yet they made us feel like we were the only passengers in the world. There was not one hint of exhaustion or frustration with being asked, I am sure, the same question that had been asked hundreds of times prior this summer.
Grigoria has a use of her family recipes and the freshest ingredients made for the perfect combinations. We only ate off the boat for 3 meals and wish we had not. Nothing came even close. Kat kept us safe, our rooms and boat clean and all sorts of other seen and unseen tasks as well and anyone ever could. The boat has a ton of living space and all the amenities you could want. The build/fit out is also well beyond most. We cannot recommend this boat and this crew enough and cannot wait to book them again.
The entire experience was faultless:
- Bliss is a beautiful, well proportioned and well maintained Yacht
- the Captain is hugely professional and experienced and is a very capable leader of an outstanding team who all work seamlessly and harmoniously in offering an experience never to be forgotten by their guests
- our original intended itinerary was very thoughtfully amended and reversed so that we could still spend time in all the islands that we wanted to , but without suffering the very rough seas enroute to Mykonos in the first couple of days
- restaurant bookings were obtained in all of our chosen restaurants with the best tables always secured
- other restaurants were thoughtfully suggested which were outstanding with the Captain personally giving us a guided tour of the town and delivering us at the restaurant. All of his suggestions were outstanding
- trips to ancient sites such as Mycenae were thoughtfully arranged and well prepared in advance
- on board the food, drink and overall hospitality were truly world class. The chef and Hostess staff could easily work at one of the worlds best restaurants or leading hotels. It was very impressive
- every conceivable watersport was fully utilised every day by our entire party and the water sports platform staff were so helpful in helping and guiding everyone
- the late evening hospitality was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, but particularly by the young adults
- the crew were so thoughtful- even putting on a surprise birthday party for me!!!
- it is hard to express in words the closeness and warmth that we now feel for Captain Takis and his entire crew. They are deeply professional, but we see them now as friends who we will look forward to seeing again as soon as we can
- Greece is such a beautiful country and each of its islands and the parts we saw of the mainland had their own individual charm. Highlights were many, but Hydra, Paros, Napflion, Mykonos and, of course, the splendid Athens at the end were the standouts!
