MORNING STAR’s crew is led by Captain Franko Barac, a seasoned professional whose seafaring story now centers on guiding guests along Montenegro’s striking Adriatic coastline. With decades of experience on charter and research vessels, he brings strong navigational expertise and a deep familiarity with the region’s bays, anchorages, and weather patterns, particularly around the Bay of Kotor and the surrounding Montenegrin waters. Beyond his technical skills, Franko’s approachable personality and adventurous spirit create an atmosphere of trust, safety, and relaxed fun as you move between Montenegro’s coastal highlights.
At the heart of life onboard is Chef Bartul Kacic, whose refined approach to cuisine elevates every day of your Montenegro charter. Drawing on more than ten years of experience in fine dining restaurants, luxury villas, and yachts, Bartul focuses on Mediterranean flavors that pair perfectly with the local setting, while weaving in touches of Asian and Italian influence. Each menu is thoughtfully crafted with seasonal ingredients, whether it is a light lunch after swimming in a quiet bay or a multi-course dinner enjoyed at anchor with Montenegro’s mountain-framed coastline as your backdrop.
Rounding out the experience are three more dedicated professionals who ensure every moment on MORNING STAR feels effortless. Deckhand Dino supports safe and smooth cruising with his technical background and confident handling of deck operations and engineering, from tender runs to water toy setup in Montenegro’s clear coves. Stewardess Nadia brings charm, precision, and warmth to the interior, anticipating needs and keeping service polished so you can simply relax and enjoy the views. Together, this five-member crew blends skill, local knowledge, and personality to deliver a Montenegro cruising experience you will remember long after you step ashore.

Overview:
The moment you step aboard the Ferretti Custom Line 100 luxury yacht MORNING STAR, Montenegro’s coastline stops being a distant view and becomes the scenery of your own private story. Her powerful presence and smooth performance give you a sense of ease from the first departure, matching the energy of a yacht built for guests who appreciate both movement and comfort. She becomes your floating stage for shared moments, quiet escapes, and days that flow naturally from one pleasure to the next.
You ease into each morning on the foredeck sunbathing area, warmed by the first light while the Adriatic shimmers in front of you and a favorite drink sits within reach. As the sun climbs, the flybridge lounge is waiting, with Kotor’s UNESCO World Heritage coastline stretching out behind the rail, so even a simple pause between swims feels layered with scenery. When evening comes, you will find yourself naturally drawn to the aft deck, where the outdoor lounge wraps you in a relaxed atmosphere perfect for unhurried conversation, a book, or a final drink. Thoughtfully arranged seating and dining areas make alfresco meals effortless, especially at anchor when local dishes arrive just as the breeze turns cooler and the light slides into softer tones.
Crossing into the interior, you are met by a saloon that feels open and welcoming, bathed in natural light that pours through the yacht’s vast windows. The master cabin is tailored for lingering, with a king-size bed at its heart, a large LED TV for entertainment, two artistic lounge chairs where you can sit with a view or a book, and an office space that allows for quiet productivity when needed. The remaining guest cabins echo this considered approach, each offering ensuite bathrooms and refined teak finishes, so every guest enjoys a private retreat that feels as comfortable as it is stylish.
As the best parts of your Montenegro itinerary unfold, you learn to read the water and follow its cues, dropping into iconic bays and circling back to clear stretches whenever they call to you. Water toys are always close at hand, giving you the option to explore near the surface, watch for marine life, or simply float and enjoy the stillness between dips. When you return to the deck for the last time each day, hair still salty and skin warm from the sun, the coastline glows softly in the distance, and the evening closes with a sense that the day gave you everything you hoped for.
