Joining them are Deck/Stewardess Chani and Chef Leasje, who remain on board all season to bring warm hospitality, delicious meals, and a personal touch to every day at sea.

Born and raised in France, Captain Jeremy takes the helm of WIND CHASER I from mid-December to mid-January and again from April to May, bringing more than 70,000 nautical miles of sailing experience and an MCA Master 200GT Unlimited qualification. His early career as a military fireman and paramedic in Paris shaped his calm leadership and ability to remain composed under pressure.

Beyond sailing, Jeremy’s strong connection to the sea extends to his passion for underwater adventures. As a qualified Divemaster who enjoys scuba diving, kitesurfing, freediving, and spearfishing, he loves introducing guests to hidden anchorages and sharing his enthusiasm for life on the water.

Meanwhile, Captain Lea welcomes guests aboard WIND CHASER I from November to mid-December and again from mid-January to early April, bringing approximately 25,000 nautical miles of sailing experience, including two ocean crossings, along with RYA Yachtmaster Ocean and RYA Sailing Instructor qualifications.

What began as a childhood dream in Germany has taken Lea across thousands of nautical miles. Her desire to explore the world by sailboat grew into a professional sailing career, shaped by ocean crossings, years of hands-on experience, and a passion for sharing the sea with others.

While the captains guide guests through the Bahamas, Deck/Stewardess Chani and Chef Leasje bring their own experience and personal touches to life aboard WIND CHASER I. Originally from France, Chani combines her background in event management with her passion for sailing and diving. As a qualified Dive Instructor and filmmaker, she helps guests enjoy their time in the water while attending to onboard service and capturing memorable moments throughout the charter.

Completing the crew, South African Chef Leasje, who brings her love for fresh, seasonal ingredients to every meal aboard WIND CHASER I. Growing up on a coastal farm, she developed an early appreciation for farm-to-table cooking, which she later refined through training under a Michelin-trained chef. Her experience strengthened her skills in fine dining, pastry, and menu creation.

Inspired by her love for fishing, spearfishing, and freediving, she brings an ocean-to-table approach to her cooking, preparing tailored dishes that range from relaxed lunches after a morning swim to elegant dinners beneath the stars.

With a shared love for the sea and a genuine passion for hospitality, together, the WIND CHASER I crew makes every day aboard feel effortless. From mornings spent on the water to peaceful evenings at anchor, every moment gives guests the freedom to enjoy Bahamas in their own way.

Caribbean Inclusive Charter Terms:
The charter fee includes the services of a captain and crew, meals, standard ship’s bar, fuel, cruising taxes, permits, and all expenses related to running the vessel and using onboard sports equipment. The charter fee does not include (optional) crew gratuities, premium beverages and fine wines, excessive alcoholic consumption, off-yacht excursions, dockage, telephone, airport transfers, or similar expenses incurred by the Charterer.
