Boatbookings shares some of the top yachts and features from the 2026 Mediterranean Yacht Show.
The annual Mediterranean Yacht Show, or MEDYS, is an event where the season’s top yachts can display their excellent crews, indulgent menus, and refined layouts. Held in Nafplio, Greece, charter brokers from all over the world attend. This year, Boatbookings team member Ben visited the MEDYS and is excited to share the yachts that stood out the most!
Top Chef
Chef Dimitri curates bespoke menus aboard the Benetti Golden Bay 50m, JO I. His meals feature modern interpretations of Greek flavors, such as the classic Gemista in the form of an Arancini. After winning second place in the 2024 culinary competition, Dimitri is aiming for number one this year!
Top Interior Design
With an open-plan concept, foldable balconies, and sliding doors, the Sanlorenzo SD126, FATSA stood out to Ben as the yacht with the most thoughtful layout. The saloon boasts flawlessly designed Italian furniture, as does the sky lounge and master suite – Ben declares it the “most stylish master bathroom on the Greek Seas!”
Top Exterior Design
Showcasing the most phenomenal views of the Palamidi in Nafplio is the Mondomarine 50m, ZALIV III. Ben noted this superyacht as having the standout sundeck and exterior spaces at the MEDYS. During your Mediterranean yacht charter, you can sip champagne in her luxurious jacuzzi as your captain cruises between idyllic anchorages.
MEDYS Awards
At the end of the show, the wonderful crew are acknowledged for their attentive service and creative menus. This year, we are proud to announce the winners of the MEDYS Golden and Platinum Awards!

First Place: Chef Barbara Makrinikola aboard the sailing catamaran ALMA.
Second Place: Chef Antonis Pazianas aboard the power catamaran D2.
Third Place: Chef Grigoris Kalaitzakis aboard the sailing catamaran SERENITY.
Tablescaping Award: Marianna Armaou aboard the sailing catamaran NEW HORIZONS 4.
MEDYS Platinum:
First Place: Chef Konstantinos Tsiatsios aboard the motor yacht PALATIAL.
Second Place: Chef Nikolaos Petroutsos aboard the motor yacht RINI V.
Third Place: Chef Andreas Peponis aboard the motor yacht WOMBAT.
Tablescaping Award: Eva Klesk aboard the motor yacht MALEN.
