It’s hard to put into words how incredible this trip has been. It’s not hyperbole to say that your team is truly world class. The attention to detail is remarkable. Noticeable things that are obvious are the visible service, unbelievably food and drinks, and the care, empathy and talents of each of you that compliment one another. What’s more impressive to me that doesn’t go unnoticed are the subtle details that appear without expectation and are so consistent — there wasn’t a spot on any drink glass, the rooms tidied — even the shower head faced in the direction that wouldn’t spray you when you turned on the water. And knowing our coffee order before we could ask — it’s no longer anticipation but the magic of Nalani and each of you that make it happen seamlessly so effortlessly. I feel so fortunate that you could all be part of my birthday in the BVI and I hope that someday we cross paths again in the adventure that life brings. I want to thank you Boatbookings once again for a wonderful charter on Tranquility. We and all our guests had a fantastic experience. We valued each of the crew and the contribution they made to make our week so fun. Mary’s catering was exceptional we felt, especially as we had complex dietary requirements. I know Oscar and Jonny (the coeliacs) were immensely impressed. We all felt Diane’s upbeat, fun attitude made us feel very welcome (great cocktails too!) and Jacques was worn out by our demands to produce endless entertainment for the kids. But we loved it! I know that the party that went diving down to the (deliberately sunk) wreck thought it was great. And Patric, you held it all together and also got involved in all the activities. We felt your choices of where to take us were perfect. Thank you again, we will be back!
We are having a great time, so much so that I haven`t been on my phone! The boat is in very good condition. Jake and Maddie have been a delight. They are very professional, yet we have enjoyed getting to know each other and our lives. Jake has been great helping with the E-foils (which the boys are LOVING) and with acquiring fishing gear, etc. The food has been delicious. Nice variety and portion sizes presented beautifully.

Paul and Lexi are a supremely competent and congenial team. They were calm and efficient handling the boat, even in the face of a squall with winds upwards of 40 mph. The food and drinks were fantastic and continually exceeded our expectations. They dealt well with the idiosyncrasies of our group, were patient and constructive as we fine tuned our itinerary, and were always fun to be around. The boat was immaculate, and we are especially appreciative of the high-end espresso machine. I could not recommend them more highly.
Our week aboard the 50-foot catamaran IARA was truly the ultimate family vacation — one that exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Paul and Lexy made us feel completely at home. They are the perfect balance of professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. Traveling with four children (ages 9–15) can sometimes be an adventure in itself, but Paul and Lexy made it seamless and unforgettable for every one of us.
Paul patiently taught the boys a little how to sail and got them involved whenever possible. The boat was stocked with plenty of toys and watercraft to keep everyone entertained, and there was never a dull moment. My husband’s favorite day was visiting the Bitter End and Saba Rock, where we used the BOBs (handheld underwater propulsion devices) — such a thrill!
Lexy is an absolute culinary star. She prepared breakfast every morning (cappuccinos to DIE for) and lunch and dinner on the days we opted for it, and every single meal was creative, beautifully presented, and delicious. Our entire family looked forward to each meal — and with four kids, that’s saying something! She has such a talent for combining fresh ingredients into dishes everyone loved.
We packed so much into our seven days, but my favorite day was visiting Anegada. Paul and Lexy connected us with the perfect vehicle rental, and we spent the entire day exploring the island — such a unique and memorable experience.
The boat itself was spotless, comfortable, and clearly very well maintained. You could tell Paul and Lexy take great pride in IARA, and it shows in every detail.
What speaks volumes is this: I am usually ready to head home toward the end of a vacation. This time? I could have happily stayed another week — especially with Paul and Lexy. Their hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail made this experience extraordinary.
