What an incredible week our two families have had on the Libra! We experienced all the varieties of islands while sailing the USVIs. Chris and Lida, our crew, were exceptional in providing high quality meals and service throughout the week. Our six boys were consistently entertained and well-taken care of during water sports and snorkelling. Every day was different, unique and exciting. Most importantly, our two families have been blessed with memories and experiences for a lifetime. We plan to come back to see new islands, but most definitely with this crew on the Libra. Hopefully soon!
Our trip was absolutely fantastic, thank you Boatbookings. Both Judy and Vince really went out of their way to make it a great experience for all. Hands down one of the most surreal trips of my life. The Virgin Islands never disappointed, especially seeing sea turtles swimming all around me. This trip would have been nothing without our amazing crew of Rita, Risa and Captain Marcus. Every meal was perfection and Risa was so accommodating and Rita was always making sure we were having a blast. 10/10 across the board. Thank you Boatbookings.
Our charter date was something we were all looking forward to for many months with great anticipation. We were not disappointed! From first stepping aboard RELENTLESS, it felt comfortable and safe. Of course, the Sunreef catamaran is outstanding in every respect but it was the crew that made all the difference, making our trip unique and unforgettable. Marcus, Rita and Risa you were beyond amazing! There is only a small difference between being good and being great. Thank you for always going the extra mile to be great at every opportunity. The entire trip had so many highlights its would be extremely hard to sum it up into a few words. The pigs, thunder ball grotto, the amazing waters, the absolutely perfect weather. We just lucked out with how perfect the entire week was. We all wanted to put the problems of the world away for a week and that’s exactly what we did. Thank you ever so much for arranging our vacation trip on Mahasattva. We are on our way home and still in a state of euphoria. The boat is beautiful; it’s new and maintained to perfection. The crew attended to our every desire and anticipated our pleasures way beyond our expectations. The chef worked around our dietary request (gluten-free) and made each meal a culinary treasure. The crew were fun and engaging but respected our privacy when we wanted to be alone. The skipper was expert, flexible and kept us informed at the ideal level for each of us. We had an amazing trip onboard Nomad II. She was new, which was a treat, but even so she was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We had some great sails and lots of splash on our crossings, and Toby took time every day to wipe down the salt water. Our beds were made every day for us and overall there was a great attention to details of cleanliness.
The crew was AMAZING. Toby is enthusiastic and energetic, not to mention hugely knowledgeable and great company. George is lovely and a great cook. The level of professionalism from both of them was fantastic.
Speaking of cooking, the food was great. We all love salads and were surprised each meal with a new and unique salad. The breakfasts were copious and delicious.
Last but not least, your level of service was exceptional. Toby commented that you are one of the very few brokers that checks in with him to see that the guests are having a great time. This is just one example of the attention we felt dedicated to us.
We HIGHLY recommend this charter trip! Alice was extremely helpful throughout the whole booking process. We did the MAHE 36 catamaran 4 days/3 nights starting at Raiatea and ending in Bora Bora. Our flight arrived earlier than check in so we opted to pay extra to get on the boat earlier (great decision). The boat itself was very comfortable. My husband and I occupied the left side of boat which had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and the skipper and cook were on the right side. The crew do their best to give you privacy. The bed itself we found to be comfortable which is supplied with sheets and pillows. No need for a blanket (at least when we traveled in Oct). Our skipper Sebastian was great, informative and very friendly. We really enjoyed our cook, Hinoni as well. She spoiled us with some delicious meals! I did place an order for snacks which were on the boat when we arrived, but you will not go hungry. We did not experience sea sickness on the trip other than the approx 4 hour ride to Bora Bora was tough on me through the ocean waters, I took a sea sickness pill which helped a lot. We went to land one day to visit the pearl farm, IF you decide to do this, my advice would be to use mosquito spray before you go as we got eaten up there. (FYI pearls are expensive). We brought our own pool floaties to lay on which they tie up to the boat because the current can be strong. Don't forget water shoes as you will want them when snorkeling. The Tahiti waters are stunning and being on the boat you are in the middle of them to enjoy and jumping in whenever you want. When are cruise was finished, we got dropped off at the St. Regis spending 2 days there and then over to the Four Seasons, that being said to stay at 2 very nice resorts, we would pick the boat as our 1st choice!! It was AMAZING and such an experience! Thank you Boatbookings for a great honeymoon experience.
