We had an amazing trip! Truly everything about it was fabulous. The boat is beautiful and had lots of space for us. The itinerary, the food, the scenery - all really good. Franko is a skilled captain and Nina an excellent chef - and they were both really enjoyable to be around. I felt comfortable and safe and it was clear they wanted us to have a wonderful time. All the little touches they did were really nice - balloons in our cabins when we arrived, flowers and a cake that Nina made herself for our anniversary, etc. It`s hard to pick a favorite destination or memory. It helps that Croatia is so beautiful and the people are warm and welcoming. Franko took us to some beautiful bays. We enjoyed dinners at Konoba Barba and Fort George, and Laganini was a great spot. (We even ran into some people we know from Seattle at Laganini!) The Blue Cave was stunning and we appreciated the arrangements that had been made so we didn`t have to wait in line. Franko and Nina ate dinner with us the last night which was great. We liked Stivina Beach, wine tasting, the monastery park with wild deer (I don`t remember the name of it) - all great experiences and I`m sure there are more that I`m forgetting. Thank you Boatbookings for your help organizing this trip! It was one of our favourite vacations we have taken. Wow, what a great week on the Opal. We loved all the stops and the anticipation each morning to learn the next stop. We especially loved Vis & Korcula & E-biking on Mljet. The food was outstanding, Boris never disappointed! The suggestion to eat Peka off the boat was excellent and we were so happy that the crew could join us. We were happy, comfortable, well-fed, entertained and sometimes very hot - thank goodness for air conditioning. We were always accommodated for such a big group with lots of eating restrictions. The catamaran is in first class condition and a credit to her owner and very well maintained by her crew. In terms of the crew, we cannot speak highly enough of both Rickard (Riki) and Matic. Riki adapted well to the changing weather conditions (storm in Split after we left but did not impact our charter) and we had a wonderful charter experience, with both Riki and Matic going above and beyond with both service onboard plus helping us explore special locations, unique restaurants and personally escorting us to some on-shore locations. The quality of our experience onboard was first class, with wonderful meals, great communication and we developed a great friendship, such that we would certainly recommend SOLAIA and her crew and hopefully come again. Lastly, can we also thank you Boatbookings. It was obvious that we have benefited from your extensive experience and we feel blessed to have had you organise our first charter experience in Europe. I cannot begin to describe the awesome time we had on Ohana! Everything was perfection! Captain Claudio, Marco and Mattia provided an excellent service, and did everything in their hands to ensure we were happy and comfortable. It is an excellent crew, and they are incredible people. The food was amazing! Best fish, pasta and tiramisu we have had. The boat is in perfect condition and they kept it clean 24/7. Positano, Capri and Ischia were incredible, and we really enjoyed our pit stop in Nerano. We also enjoyed bathing in such beautiful blue waters and the beautiful views along the coast.
