About Virgin Gorda
Many Believe that Virgin Gorda is the most scenic of the British Virgin Islands. Virgin Gorda is the third-largest (after Tortola and Anegada) of the islands but much less populted than Tortola. It offers many quiet, unspoiled bays, several resorts, and the famous "Baths" (see below). The island is quite hilly and offers dense and lush vegetation.
Virgin Gorda offers the charterer a wide choice of pristine beaches, including as Savannah Bay, Pond Bay, Devil's Bay, Mahoe Bay and Spring Bay. For the adventurous, the island can be explored on the trails that run throughout the island, offering a vide variety of indigenous plants in the national parks at Gorda Peak, Devil's Bay, Spring Bay and the North Sound.
The world famous Rosewood Little Dix Bay Resort, designed by Laurance S. Rockefeller, has its own spectacular bay and beach, near Spanish Town. It embodies relaxed chic and attracts vacationers from all corners of the globe.
The Baths. Virgin Gorda's major attraction is "The Baths" located on the southern end of the island. The Baths are a number of huge granite boulders strewn on the beach, forming scenic caves that are open to the sea. Swimming and snorkeling are the main attractions here. The major resort on the island is Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor, formerly the Rockefeller Resort of Little Dix Bay.
At the far Eastern End of Virgin Gorda is a resort appropriately called the "Bitter End". This resort, which has numerous bungalows set into the hillside and surrounded by virgin forest. The Bitter End is very yacht friendly, with easy moorings and a provisioning store. It's a great place to spend the night and eat on shore. You can enjoy the beach during the day, and also have a "Cheeseburger in Paradise" at the tiny hamburger shop on the beach.

“Make sure you visit the Baths either really early in the day, or mid to late afternoon. Otherwise there are likely to be swarms of tourists from the cruise ships there. The Baths are beautiful, but not when you have to stand in line to walk the path!”
