We wanted to let you know what an unforgettable experience we recently had aboard Opal. We were so pleased with everything about our trip, most especially our crew~ they were outstanding. Our captain, Boris, did a great job finding out our interests and then tailoring an itinerary that we thought was perfect (but maybe too short by about 4 days!) Marije was a fantastic stewardess and Gagas cooking was beyond all possible expectations. Our entire group of 8 has called this `the trip of a lifetime` ~ we will all be talking about our amazing time in Croatia for years to come. We had a truely wonderful experience - the crew were extremely accommodating, provided outstanding service and were lovely company for the journey. Captain George ensured we had clear sunny skies and calm seas almost every day, as well as taking us to places to which we would not otherwise have gone that he thought we should see such as the Nefplio castle and the ancient theatre. This gave us a really good mix of relaxing on board, land activities and interesting sights. Dimitris went out of his way to make the kids comfortable and encouraged them to take advantage of the water activities when he realised they were shy to ask - a highlight for them was the tubing which Dimitris and Captain George willingly offered them on many occasions. Both he and May took tremendous care of the catamaran which was always clean and tidy for us. May’s cooking was a highlight - delicious meals for everybody, fresh and interesting. The kids just loved her dishes as did I. Thank you again for a great recommendation of the vessel and crew - I saw a number of catamarans on the trip and there was not one I would have preferred to be on, and the crew only enhanced the experience. Altesse and Boatbookings provided the perfect BVI charter for my family and friends. Richard, you are simply superb and brilliant at working out the best itinerary and plan for the trip. You listened to my suggestions, pushed back or provided alternatives when necessary and got my boys involved in the sailing, which was great. Sarah, you are an extraordinary chef and organizer and kept everyone happy while managing complex logistics such as a lobster dinner for 11 on Anegada. Here are some of the highlights: - Every one of your superb meals - The unbeatable champagne deck - Changing the itinerary to avoid “the swell`; - Unfurling the gennaker with the help of my boys - Your signature cocktails - You somehow got 6 dolphins to swim with us from Soggy Dollar to Foxys and then hang around for the entire happy hour so they could swim with Richard and Andrew The perfect BVI charter. Words can`t begin to describe the wonderful vacation we had! The 2 of you made the trip exceed our expectations.
