About the Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show is the world's premiere showcase for Super Yachts and Mega Yachts. Every year in late September, the world's leading manufacturers, designers and brokers of SuperYachts, and the entire supporting cast of this industry, show off the latest and greatest in Monaco. There are 1000 yachts and tenders on display, 500 exhibitors and 30,000 people in attendance.

Each shipbuilder and yacht designer uses this show to promote their latest creations and advancements in the art of super yacht building. For instance, in 2006 the talk of the show was the unique SV Maltese Falcon, whose three massive masts towered above the show. In 2007, the hit was Oceanco's Alpha Nero, with its huge deck space and infinite pool.

Yacht Designers and Shipbuilders in Attendance

You will find all of the name Super Yacht Manufacturers in attendance with lavish booths and several yachts to display. Key manufacturers in attendance are: Lurssen, Feadship, Dubois, Alloy Yachts, Azimut, Benetti, Canados, Couach, Ferretti, Heesen, Holland Jachtbouw, ISA, Jongert, Oceanco, Perini Navi, Pershing, Riva, Rodriquez, Royal Denship, Sunreef, Sunseeker, Trinity and Wally.

The Monaco Yacht Show is also a gathering where companies come to announce new developments. One of the main current trends is making these yachts more enviornmentally sensitive, and reducing carbon emissions. The show itself has been Carbon Neutral for several years (all carbon emissions are offset by the show organisers).
