“We cannot say enough good things about our experience on CASTY with Jim and Amanda! Our vacation was by far the best vacation we have ever taken and the best quality time we have spent as a family. At first we were hesitant to come back to the Caribbean after having been to many of the islands over the years (we figured over time, if you had seen a few, you had seen them all!) but this was far different than anything we had experienced in that area. It was a whole new world!! Each day was tailored perfectly, and Jim did an incredible job of giving us numerous options to help us plan our day so that everyone was happy (our kids are 12 & 15). This boat provided scuba diving and for a family of 4 (all certified), this was a phenomenal experience to do as a family. Jim was the best Dive master and guide, and made sure we got to dive at the best places in the BVIs. Not only did he take care of us with all of our gear, he was an encyclopedia of knowledge on everything we saw and the history of the places we went. It certainly would be considered ‘luxury diving’, and I think we are going to have a really tough time matching that service unless we come back to Catsy! Also, I have a tendency to get sea sick from time to time, and Jim even took care in choosing not only the most beautiful, but the most ‘calm’ place to moor the boat at the end of the day so there would not be a lot of water motion during the night. I was completely fine all week on this boat and that was a first for me! Amanda was equally as wonderful and helpful. Even the smallest request did not go unrecognized. She is easily a five star chef! Her meals were well planned, well timed, and prepared so beautifully, it made you feel like royalty. She always made sure you received exactly what you wanted, even if it meant preparing something a little different than the rest of the group. Everything was so delicious that even my two finicky kids wanted seconds! Catsy with Jim and Amanda was definitely top notch in every sense of the word. The boat itself is spectacular and extremely well kept. Everything was very clean and tidy the entire week, much like many five star hotels, but with a wonderful, casual/laid back atmosphere at the same time. My husband is a very busy business owner who has a hard time relaxing & leaving worries behind and I don’t think there was one minute on that boat that he didn’t feel totally at ease and he truly felt like he was on vacation the whole time. Even though the vacation was only a week, we felt like we were gone for a month. We would do this again with Jim and Amanda in a heartbeat and we are definitely going to spread the word to friends and family so that others can experience the true magic of CATSY!
