The Boat Shows – News and Reviews!
The Boatbookings.com team have been very busy this September, attending the Cannes Boat Show, the Monaco Yacht Show and the European Committee for Professional Yachting in Nice, talking to the most exciting crews, viewing and reviewing the best choice of luxury ; sailboats, catamarans and motor yachts, available.

The Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes saw its biggest year yet, with shipyards such as Riva, Overmarine and Sunseeker premiering their flagship designs for brokers and buyers alike. The finest in luxury charter yachts were also available for viewing, and our team met their fantastic crews and saw everything they have to offer.

The Monaco Yacht Show 2013
25th to 28th September sees the finest super yachts come to Monaco for an exhibition like no other! The Monaco Yacht Show is famed as the finest show in the yachting world; Port Hercule is transformed into homage for major shipyards. This year was no exception and provided an unforgettable array of boats for sale and charter.

AUSTRALIS

Our Charter Director Lambros describes the interior of AUSTRALIS as “comfortable and modern, but with a luxurious contemporary twist.” He also commended the welcoming, relaxed and knowledgeable British captain Mark. She’s heading for charters in the Maldives and Thailand this winter following a beautifully executed re-fit in January 2013. She’ll back in the Mediterranean next summer!
M OCEAN
- Arcadia 35
A yacht for the image conscious, Arcadia has taken the yachting world by storm with their futuristic designs and solar panel roofing. Our Charter Assistant Charles described the interior as “contemporary and welcoming with all the amenities necessary for entertaining on the water!” Her young, English-speaking crew are wholly enthusiastic about this eye-catching yacht.
European Committee for Professional Yachting Meeting in Nice
The European Committee for Professional Yachting (ECPY) is a group that brings together those who work in the industry to discuss important issues affecting our clients. It also gives us a chance to inspect yachts available for charter around the world. A couple of our favourites are below.

GRAND BLEU VINTAGE is a sailor’s dream mixing superb performance under sail with amenities such as a large swim platform and shaded deck space. She’s available for charter this winter in the Caribbean!

This super-luxurious yacht is both comfortable and exciting; our brokers Adam and Ben described the food on board as “delicious and completely original.” The crew are dynamic, energetic and always up for finding new ways to entertain guests from costume parties to basketball games. She really does have everything, from spacious decks to an array of water toys!
Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show 2013
