They were very complimentary about the food that they were served on board, made by LADY ALLIAURA&#8217;s Italian chef; this included home-made bread and cupcakes, and the latter made us start thinking creatively&#8230;Boating Baking!<\/p>\n<p>Cupcakes are fast becoming a great power in the culinary world; it makes sense that the luxury yachts are going to start serving them on board. If you&#8217;re looking to charter a yacht as part of a celebration, whether a birthday, anniversary or wedding, being able to serve mini celebration cakes on board is fantastic! So, to get the process started,<br \/>\nwe have had a look around for nautical and yacht themed baking treats.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Sailing-Cupcakes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9739\" title=\"Sailing Cupcakes\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Sailing-Cupcakes-286x300.jpg\" width=\"286\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, if you&#8217;re looking to charter a luxury yacht with us and want something to get you excited, here is a simple recipe to<em> make cupcakes:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>100g caster sugar<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>100g unsalted butter<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>100g self raising flour<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>2 eggs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/2 tsp vanilla essence<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C, line a cupcake tray with cases<\/li>\n<li>Cream the caster sugar and butter, until light and fluffy.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl, then add gradually to sugar and butter, making sure they are mixed in well<\/li>\n<li>Fold in the flour<\/li>\n<li>Divide between the cupcake cases.<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9735\" title=\"Shark&amp;Rescue Cupcakes\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/SharkRescue-Cupcakes-300x200.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until they are springy to the touch<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>For the buttercream icing:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>250g icing sugar<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>80g unsalted butter at room temperature<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>25ml milk<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A few drops of vanilla essence<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix together \u00a0the icing sugar and butter (carefully!)<\/li>\n<li>Gradually mix in the milk and vanilla essence, here you can add food colouring if you want (preferably blue to match the nautical theme!)<\/li>\n<li>Ice your cakes!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you would like to receive more information with regards to booking your luxury 2013 charter yacht, please enquire through our website,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/?bbr=bblog\">www.boatbookings.com<\/a><\/strong>, where one of our Charter Specialists will be happy to help you plan the experience of a lifetime.
