On the way we passed Santa, on his outrigger, relaxing after his long night.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1023\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-61245\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/7DCAB16F-0700-43F9-AA28-F1FB920B9A3C_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption>Santa uses an outrigger in Tahiti, of course<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Our anchorage was a huge shallow lagoon shared with about 10 other catamarans that offered a constant view of the Bora Bora peaks and waves crashing on the reefs. This area is famous for the color of the water, and didn&#8217;t disappoint! Most of the day was quiet &#8211; snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. As it was our last full day on the boat, we wanted to enjoy every moment, and also celebrate Christmas as a family.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" class=\"wp-image-61253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/7121A56A-60D0-4EF5-8418-D2AB6C17B14F.poster-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption>Drone shot of our anchorage<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Nature blessed us with another gorgeous sunset, this time with the Bora Bora peaks in the foreground.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-61247\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/7FB456B1-6545-4D8F-8019-C48C5E8A50C4_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>And of course, we celebrated Christmas Happy Hour with a bottle of Bubbly on the fly deck.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-61249\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/020FE37D-5CA2-4253-96D4-B955E11A512E_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>For Christmas dinner, Clara prepared a Capon, as there was no turkey available, which was beautifully cooked with all the trimmings!
