A nice lazy morning just enjoying the beauty of the area.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Our charter was scheduled for two meals ashore, so we were excited to have reservations for lunch at the Pearl La Taha&#8217;a resort, just a short tender ride from our boat.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-61187\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/76B32EA3-5602-43AF-BC0E-557B5E781B7A_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-61185\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/39AFF2AE-83E4-441B-BAD3-CDBC59F4A942_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-61189\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/07A618DD-CB62-4C64-B8F9-4CF80101665F_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>La Taha&#8217;a Pearl is a beautiful Relais and Chateau resort, and the food didn&#8217;t disappoint! It was also decked out in full Christmas decorations, Tahiti style!<\/p>\n<p>After lunch, our captain picked us up and we proceeded to take a sailing cruise around the island.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-61193\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2BB2F15E-4A47-4CBE-AED5-67B49EEB871B_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption>Sails up!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We anchored on the east side of the island, near the Vanilla farm we would be visiting the next day.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"769\" height=\"1024\" class=\"wp-image-61195\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2C6835F2-DCA8-4F8D-BABD-837E4707421A_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-61197\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/14927820-031D-4750-9DB2-8251B50721F6_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>It never gets old &#8211; a gorgeous sunset over Taha&#8217;a and sundowner drinks, this time pina coladas. A nice steak dinner, but the day was not over!
