About three years earlier, Tony Moore had started a small business in the workshop next door. He recalls &#8220;a man and an Alsation were building a boat, a big boat, he was an interesting and clever chap, and I talked to him now and then, really wondering if he would ever realize his dream.\u00a0 I guess about three or four years later, the dream came true.&#8221;\u00a0 Archival photos, courtesy of Tony Moore, show the builder, his companion Alsation, and a crowd of well wishers on hand for the launch.
