America Sailing Club Debuts Charter Eco Cat on Pier C38 at Strictly Sail Show<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Electric Sailing Catamaran is the end product of efforts by the America Sailing Club to introduce charterers to environmentally friendly boating. The Electric Catamaran Sailboat runs on wind, 144V DC and loads of batteries. This eco-friendly cat has been retrofitted to use 144V DC, and is equipped with EMotion Hybrids system of 4.5 Kw motors, the new Hammond Arctic Wave 144V DC Air Conditioning System, the first generation of Wind Turbine at 144V dc, and much more, installed in a redesigned 1992 Vintage Catamaran. <\/p>\n

Vendors from manufacturers of equipment used on board this cutting edge eco-cat including; Like Royal Battery, Sensata, Ocean LED, Hammond Air, Paneltronics DC panels, and others, will be available to answer questions and demonstrate products. <\/p>\n

The Electric Sailing Catamaran will be available for viewing at Pier 38, Strictly Sail Show<\/a>, Miamarina at Bayside, and for charter immediately after the show.<\/p>\n
