{"id":19766,"date":"2013-05-01T02:38:01","date_gmt":"2013-05-01T00:38:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/?p=19766"},"modified":"2013-05-23T12:21:14","modified_gmt":"2013-05-23T10:21:14","slug":"bvi-crewed-catamaran-7-day-itinerary-final-sail-the-bight-norman-island-to-road-town-tortola","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/01\/bvi-crewed-catamaran-7-day-itinerary-final-sail-the-bight-norman-island-to-road-town-tortola\/","title":{"rendered":"BVI Crewed Catamaran 7 Day Itinerary \u2013 Final Sail \u2013 The Bight, Norman Island to Road Town, Tortola"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: right;\"><a title=\"Crewed Catamaran Charter itinerary in the BVI\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/yachting_content\/crewed_catamaran_bvi_itinerary.php\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Click here to see this BVI itinerary in its entirety<\/em><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Snorkeling, Paddle Boarding and Water Skiing in Privateer Bay<\/h3>\n<p>Alex and Carla do their utmost to make the final day a fun one, to counteract the sadness of having to leave behind this magical charter.\u00a0 They start the day with a light breakfast and then a cruise around the point to Privateer Bay, a quiet place with a nice reef where we had our final snorkel,\u00a0 water ski and paddle board excursion.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, we were greeted with Eggs Benedict, as a final celebration brunch.\u00a0 What could be better?<\/p>\n<h3>Back to Road Town \ud83d\ude41<\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_19772\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19772\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-Shot-2013-05-01-at-02.18.05.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19772\" alt=\"Sailing back to Road Town from Norman Island\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatbookings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Screen-Shot-2013-05-01-at-02.18.05.png\" width=\"700\" height=\"523\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-19772\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sailing back to Road Town from Norman Island<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>All good things have to come to an end, but we at least still had a nice sail across the Sir Francis Drake Channel to Road Town.\u00a0 We all sat on the front deck, and enjoyed the sail and wind in our faces &#8211; no one said a word.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps\/ms?msa=0&amp;msid=217569779096344450171.0004db9d192c9afca7dfd&amp;hl=en&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;t=m&amp;ll=18.367233,-64.616432&amp;spn=0.130333,0.222816&amp;z=12&amp;output=embed\" height=\"400\" width=\"650\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>We had one final strawberry daiquiri on the deck, took pictures, and said our thank you&#8217;s to Alex and Carla, promising to be back as soon as possible. We also signed their guest book, reading other entries which clearly showed that everyone else had a similarly great time on Souls Calling!<\/p>\n<p>Alex, being Alex, anchored as close as possible to the Ferry Building, and then dinghy&#8217;ed us over to the Ferry so that we literally only had to walk 10 feet to get on the Boat.
