Head south to the very\u00a0popular Playa Del Carmen for a spot of scuba diving around Cozumel\u00a0or dive the famous Dos Cenotes near Tulum. Head\u00a0north via Isla Mujeres and Isla Contoy<\/strong><\/a> for\u00a0a very undeveloped Mexican experience. After visiting these two\u00a0stunning islands, keep going north until you come to Isla Holbox.<\/p>\n

\"Isla<\/a>
\nIsla Holbox is located on\u00a0the northern coast of the Yucat\u00e1n Peninusla. It is 12km long, 1.5km\u00a0wide and is only separated from the mainland by a lagoon, where you\u00a0will find an extensive array of birdlife. Holbox is part of the\u00a0Yum-Balam Biosphere Reserve and guests will see pelicans and\u00a0flamingos dot the lagoon. There is very little tourism on the\u00a0island, making this an exclusive and very peaceful destination to\u00a0charter a yacht. Fishing is the islands main income, however\u00a0tourism is slowly growing thanks to whale shark viewing.
