“When we decided to take a special once in a lifetime trip to celebrate my birthday, we chose a trip we had always wanted to go on. Our group of four couples had varying sailing experience from three time charterers, to a long time sailor and then to first time sailors. As I was charged with putting the trip together, I started my search. We had a number of divers so having a captain who could take us diving was one of our criteria along with a group decision that a catamaran versus a mono-hull was our boat of choice. After a great deal of research and discussion with a number of brokers, we decided on Bliss and the highly recommended crew of Ron and Anya. From the moment we got on the boat, the entire experience began to exceed our expectations. The boat was spotless and wonderfully set up. The boat and the rooms were so much larger than we ever would have imagined. The crew was friendly and laid back and we could tell right away that we had chosen well. They took the time to go through and discuss a detailed itinerary and asked for our input on what our expectations were so that they could tailor the trip to them. And let me tell you, our expectations were greatly exceeded! For starters, we had a number of out of the ordinary dietary restrictions. Anya was a master in the kitchen. The meals she prepared were stupendous. We have all commented over and over that the food was the best we had ever had! Not only was she able to stun us with an unreal variety of awesome meals but she was able to do this factoring in all of our crazy needs… I still salivate when thinking about her creations!! My only regret was telling them at the beginning of the week that we would eat dinner ashore twice!! It should have been 0. Captain Ron went out of his way to make sure our trip was memorable. From making sure that the boat was lined up for the satellite during the NFC championship game to making sure that we always had a new concoction to sample every evening… It quickly became apparent that we had two new friends to guide us through this fantastic vacation. He always found a way to keep us laughing and anticipating his next idea (ask him how to play ubeley doubly!!) He also took us on some wonderful dives and we were able do them with the dive sites all to ourselves. I know that I speak for all of my gang when I say that the trip in all its facets was beyond all of our expectations. If you plan on going sailing, you would be doing yourself and your fellow vacationers a disservice to not strongly consider Ron, Anya and Bliss. Our group is already planning to set up another trip in the next couple of years. Our only fear is that we will never be able to top this unbelievable vacation!! Thank you Ron and Anya!
