Designed by Groupe Finot, the Beneteau 331 offers a sophisticated hull with traditional lines. It is a 33 foot boat with a broad stern that allows two aft double cabins. These two plus the forward one allow up to eight people to share life aboard. Its 1.60 m keel and 58 m2 sail make this boat one of the best seagoing yachts of its size. When lowered the lift keel gives a sailing draught of 6 6, considerably deeper than the fin keel version of the same boat. The toed-out twin rudders mean that one is usually near vertical - and hence working very efficiently whilst sailing.
