A large classic sailing ship, full of romance for the true sailors-at-heart.
The Galapagos are best visited by a sailing ship, just as Darwin did, and the Mary Anne is the ideal yacht for this!
With an elegant design and almost 1,000 square metres of sail, the Mary Anne is a fast ship which combines the elegance of a tall ship with the comforts of a modern yacht.
The ship was launched in 1997 and has a 3 deck layout. Accommodation for up to 16 guests consists of 10 air-conditioned cabins, all with private bathroom.
The sun deck offers ample space for relaxing or dining outside, where the main deck provides the dining room, galley, library, bar and entertainment centre. The cabin deck is where all guest accommodation is located.
The crew includes your captain plus first mate, 2 sailors, an engineer, a chef and assistant chef, and a licensed naturalist guide.
Four generators, two water makers and a range of modern navigation equipment are all on board.
Safety equipment includes three 25 passenger and one 20 passenger life rafts with safety equipment, Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), SART, central alarm with smoke and fire-detectors, life jackets and fire extinguishers.
