This yacht is a modern 36 ft fast cruiser built by Jeanneau yachts of France. Designed by Phillip Briand (well renowned for producing many of the supreme yachts sailing today) she is the perfect complement of performance, safety and comfort for her size.

She has 2 separate cabins for guests with lockable doors for your complete privacy, all with fans installed.

Uncluttered decks enable you to spend time forward while cruising or anchored, or sit in the well sized cockpit with full open views.

The saloon below provides comfortable seating for 6 around a generous sized central table, ideal for dining if you choose not to dine under the stars.

Fresh food is the order of the day, with fresh garden salads, freshly caught fish cooked or sushimi, Thai or Italian Dishes, or a delicious barbeque all possible.

A traditional Fijian Lovo (local foods cooked in an earth oven) can also be organised. Or maybe partake in a little Kava (Yaqona) at the same time and a small party with the locals.

Having completed several ocean passages SAFARI comes well equipped with up to date, recently surveyed safety equipment. Her inventory of gear well surpasses the requirements of local Fijian survey which is done 6 monthly. All crew on board are trained in all aspects of marine safety.

Your captain and hostess, Ian and Helen Thomson, are the owners of SAFARI. They have cruised and surfed various tropical paradises for over 20 years, and have lived in Fiji for the last 5 years.

We can organise land accommodation for you before and at the end of your sailing trip, and can also organise specialist game fishing, scuba diving and bush walks at various stops along your sailing journey.
