Built as a luxury yacht in the JEANNEAU tradition, the 43 DS (Deck Saloon) is designed to ensure maximum comfort and safety without compromising her admirable sailing characteristics built on the standard 43' Jeanneau "racing hull". She offers the best of both worlds: the forecabin has a queen-size 'V' berth with starboard settee, mirrored cosmetic table, next to a large hanging locker with an ensuite head and shower. Add the benefits of an aft master stateroom (an impressive 6'7" standing room!) with port and starboard seating, teak end-table\lockers, twin hanging lockers and ample drawer space, ensuite head and enclosed shower and you will find more what you would expect to find in a centre cockpit coupled with the more classic aesthetics and enjoyable helming position of an aft cockpit yacht.
The large custom dodger connected to a bimini ensures a cool cockpit to relax in under sail or at anchor, and a folding cockpit table with ice chest allows for convivial al fresco dining.
Guests can soak up the warmth of the sun on the sunbathing mattress on the foredeck or cool down in the tropical waters, accessed from the aft swim platform with external hot \ cold shower rinse. There is a perch seat on the aft rail from which to enjoy the passing scenery. At night activate a light switch on the aft transom to illuminate your departure\arrival in the dinghy. All lines are led aft to the spacious cockpit for easy sail handling and with an in-mast furling mainsail and furling 135 percent genoa, it is a breeze to set sail, even for a ten minute cruise around to the next bay.
Below decks, when dockside with 110V availability, relax in air -conditioned comfort. The wrap around windows in the main saloon make this boat very light and offer panoramic views from the saloon. Plenty of hatches ensure excellent ventilation. A Bose surround sound DVD and 17" plasma TV, saloon "mood" lighting and overhead light dimmers, as well as a CD player in each cabin is a prime example of the quality and comfort that is afforded this yacht throughout.
The carefully thought out navigation station, equipped with Raymarine electronic chart plotter with c map cartography, wind, speed, depth, and autopilot, plus a second visual display in the cockpit, makes navigation a pleasure. The two settees that surround the nav station serve to expand the entertainment space in the Main Salon.
You can accommodate an extra guest or 2 on the specially designed convertible saloon table with aero mattress. A simple release of a knob and the saloon table converts to a double berth, or a coffee table [throw your feet up and relax watching those movies you never have time to watch at home].
The yacht has a 2500-watt inverter serving the galley that comes fully equipped with a toaster, blender and coffee maker. A four-burner stove and oven, Large refrigerator with freezer allow you to cater in style.
