Harmony II is a 189 foot classic steel-built luxury mega-yacht, launched in 1954, that has been fully restored by Alan and Martin Pedley over the last six years.
The restoration project, a total internal and external refit, included the installation of new engines and the replacement of 85 tonnes of hull plating.
She was re-designed in order to provide a venue for high-class conferences whilst in port, and to act as a luxury charter yacht whilst at sea.
HARMONY II is unique, as the designers have avoided ultra-modern fashions which inevitably lead to a minimalistic-type living environment. Instead, a careful blend of traditional style and modern functionality has been maintained throughout, with the interior design mirroring the carefully restored classic exterior, so that a warm and comfortable ambience has been achieved.
Also involved in the project are Skopos Design Ltd, who provided the carefully selected interior fabrics throughout the vessel, drawing from their experience with both marine and hotel design.
HARMONY II has recently left Cannes for Canary Wharf, where she will remain for the Winter season.
HARMONY II is available for hire as a luxury venue, perfect for corporate events.
HARMONY II will be available for MIPIM 2009
She is equipped with a conference room with the latest audio-visual technology, a lounge/bar area, catering facilities, and a boardroom that is perfect for executive meetings.
HARMONY II is licensed to have 200 guests on board whilst moored and can also be hired as a charter vessel, to carry up to 12 passengers for short or extended breaks.
