Charter Yacht Description

She is a true classic yacht!

The current owner has undertaken a massive and progressive reconstruction, all carried out under Lloyds Class supervision from hull to engine room.

She has been fully repainted, her teak top deck and foredeck have been replaced as have all the interior soft furnishings in the saloon. She also has new bathrooms and was also recarpeted throughout.

She was made fully MCA compliant and is a popular charter yacht.

She has been given a new life but has retained her character and sea keeping abilities.

Main Deck:
She has a large fore deck with twin anchors and capstans. There is a hatch with an entrance to the crews quarters, and a large dining table for the crew with bench seats and deck lockers under. Over this area, on a solid frame, is a blue awning.

On the forward part of the superstructure is a ladder up to the Portuguese bridge. To port is a doorway allowing access to the port side deck.

The port side deck has access to the galley, a storage cupboard and the engine room. There is diving bottle storage under the fore part shelter area.

The starboard side deck has access to the owners side entrance and reception area, giving greater privacy for owners and guests.

Owners stateroom:
Forward in the accommodation area is the owners double stateroom. This is finished in cherry wood. There is a sideboard with drawers and cupboard space, vanity unit and a double wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom is also in cherry wood with beige tiles and a teak floor. It is equipped with a shower, W.C. and wash basin.

Reception:
The owners stateroom opens onto the forward reception area and passageway. Here, is the access to the forward guest accommodation, wheelhouse, galley and main saloon.

Galley:
This is generously sized, to port, and was rebuilt in 1995. There is a double stainless steel sink unit and good work surfaces. A door leads out onto the port side deck.

Saloon and Dining Salon:
This area was rebuilt in 1995 with beautifully finished American cherry wood with inlays of Sycamore. The dining table is forward and can seat up to 12. In the saloon area are sofas, plus two easy chairs and a coffee table. Plus a sideboard for storage, TV, video and music centre.

In the starboard quarter are the stairs down to the lower aft guest accommodation and to port a door onto the aft deck.

Aft deck:
The aft deck area is covered with a solid upper deckhead. To port is a bar with a marble topped service counter, sink, fridge and ice maker. There is curved cushioned seating following the line of the canoe stern. The beautifully varnished table can seat up to 12.

Lower deck and accommodation:
Forward are the crews quarters. Aft is the crews mess with a dining table, shelves, TV and video.

The stairs go up to the fore deck. There are 2 upper and lower berth cabins, one with a washbasin, and each with hanging space and drawers. These cabins share a bathroom with shower, W.C. and washbasin.

There is an emergency exit from the starboard guest cabin to the crews quarters through a watertight door.

Aft of this is a double guest cabin with drawers under and hanging space. The bathroom has a bath, W.C. and washbasin.

To port is a twin bedded guest cabin with drawers under the beds and hanging lockers. The bathroom has a shower, W.C. and washbasin. The two guest cabins are finished in sycamore wood and navy blue carpets.

The aft accommodations have access from the saloon. There are 2 similar double cabins each with an ensuite bathroom, shower, W.C. and washbasin. These bathrooms were refitted in 2005 and have grained wood and teak floors.

AFT is a double cabin plus a child pilot berth, hanging locker storage space and desk. The cabin is painted in white with a teak trim. There is an ensuite bathroom, finished in medium coloured wood with bath, telephone, shower, W.C. and washbasin.

Upper deck:
Forward is the Portuguese bridge with a bench seat for viewing. Doors to port and starboard allow outside entry to the wheelhouse. On the port side are wing controls for the main engines. Recessed, and aft of the wheelhouse doors, to port and starboard, is a chest freezer.

To port and starboard are single sofas offering panoramic views for everyone.

There is an inside stairway down to the starboard passageway. From an external doorway is the double captains cabin with storage, writing desk, hanging lockers and an ensuite bathroom with shower, W.C. and washbasin.

The sundeck is large and has a separate boat deck area, aft. On the aft part of the superstructure is a bench seat and large dining table together with an icemaker and fridge.

For shade there is a pull out awning covering the dining area with ample space for free standing chairs and sun lounges.

Towards the boat deck area are two deck lockers and two life rafts. Amidships is the boat crane.
