The Catana 471 was Boat of the Year in the US in 1999.

This boat was completely refitted in 2007, and can sleep 10 comfortably with space for 2 more of required.

The salon of the Catana 471 can handle up to ten people, with an ocean view able to be enjoyed at all times, even when seated.

A double cabin with a large bed and two gigantic portholes offers a superb sea view from the berth as well as from the bathroom located forward in the hull.

The very spacious passageway is fitted out with a generous variety of cupboards and hanging lockers.

The cockpit is vast. Two offset and raised helm stations make sail trimming easy and allow the helmsman to keep an eye on the boat and its crew all of the time.

Mainsail maneuver and reefing are all handled by a central electric winch on the aft beam. With the totally flush deck there are no ropes or hatches to get in the way.

Circulation is easy, because the deck is completely flat and free of pitfalls, and the very tight trampoline net is the perfect place for sunbathing.
