The Bavaria 39 replaces the Bavaria 38 Cruiser. She features a range of additional standard equipment over and above the extensive standard features that made the Bavaria 38 one of the most popular models in the range. These include 2 skylight windows in saloon and 6 hull windows for greater light and air, stowaway for dodger, cockpit table with storage, wind gauge, battery charger 24Ah and ice box with cooling compressor as standard. There is a head in the forepeak as well as an aft head with separate seating shower, just like the Bavaria 42 Cruiser.
