Split, Croatia Charter Yachts
Split, Croatia Charter Yachts
Split is the main city in Dalmatia, and the largest city on the Croatia Adriatic coast. Beautifully preserved, and rich in history and culture, it is a stunning destination to visit.
The city was first settled at the end of the third century AD, when the Roman Emperor Diocletian built his palace on the site of today`s Split. Diocletian`s Palace is a well-preserved Roman palace located at the heart of the city. Many of Split\'s splendid historical and cultural monuments can be found within the walls of the palace.
Split is home to almost 60% of all the gulets (traditional Sailing Boats) in Croatia - a fantastic way to see this beautiful coast. More about gulets!
Split is the ideal starting point for any yacht charter. Even if you go every year to Split, each time you can do a different itinerary and always see something new and beautiful.
MARINA INFO
Split marina lies in the southwestern part of the city port, north of Sustipan Peninsula. The long breakwater protects the marina from the southern winds. The marina has 360 berths and 120 boat places on land; all berths have water and power supply.
